They both decided to pursue culinary arts together at Triplett Tech during their high school years, and eventually they worked together at the bakery "flour and water". They have experienced much together, and Wilmary couldn't think of a better person to be her maid of honor than Stephanie.

Although he is Nate's cousin, Sam was one of Nate's first friends. They did everything together while growing up. From sports like baseball and basketball, to getting into mischief together, most of Nate's childhood memories are with Sam. Before he ever knew Wilmary, Nate knew he wanted Sam to be his best man at his wedding, he's been there for most of his life, it only made sense to have him there by his side for his biggest moment.

Ruth is Nate and Wilmary's niece, she has been so excited for the role of flower girl ever since Nate and Wilmary got engaged, she talks about it almost every single week leading up to the wedding.

Joshua is Nate and Wilmary's nephew. Nate and Wilmary were unsure who was going to be their ring bearer when they first got engaged, and Nate jokingly said maybe his sister would become pregnant with a boy that could be in their wedding. 11 months later came Joshua, and now the joke became reality!
Apostle Rebecca Murray

Apostle Rebecca Murray is the head of Portering the Glory International, as well as Nate's spiritual mother. Nate was honored to ask Apostle Becky to officiate his and Wilmary's wedding.
