What are my options for getting to Boulder from Denver Airport

Answer

Other than renting a car or ride share, there are also busses and shuttles that may be more cost effective for the trip. Public bus route AB1 leaves hourly, travel time 78 min. Download the transit app for more information or reach out to us and we can assist! Shuttle Eight Black allows you to plan a round-trip shuttle ahead of time for a cost. Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! One of our blocks has filled, but we still have a room block available. Please visit the 'Travel' tab on our website. Most hotel and Airbnb options in the area will be pricier than the block available. We hope that you'll join us in staying there for ease of transportation to and from the reception!

What are the differences between the two recommended hotels?

Answer

HOTEL BOULDERADO 1 block off Pearl street so it's very walkable; lowest cost per room per night is $299; only a smaller room block was available, so space is limited; there is no pool EMBASSY SUITES 1 mile off Pearl street, but there is a nearby bus stop that runs to Pearl Street; lowest cost per room per night is $249; larger room block available; there is a pool, weather permitting

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you can! But ideally by beginning of April. Keep in mind, hotel blocks close April 25th.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please dress in cocktail attire for the Wedding and Reception. You can come as you are for the welcome party on Thursday!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be having a welcome party at Hotel Boulderado on Thursday, May 25th, the night before the wedding, everyone is welcome. You can also RSVP for that event on the RSVP tab. We'd love to see you there!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, BUT, we highly encourage you to take one of the shuttles that will make stops at each of the recommended hotels. Especially if you plan on drinking! Because the wedding location is in a canyon, there is no cell service, so you may not be able to rely on GPS for driving or ride share services.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels and the ceremony/reception location?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles to the ceremony will leave from Embassy Suites by Hilton Boulder beginning at 3:30pm and will make stops at Hotel Boulderado. We recommend arriving to shuttle boarding early to ensure a spot on the shuttles. Shuttles will also provide transportation back. Check the 'Travel' tab closer to the event for more details on exact times and locations of shuttle loading and unloading spots.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that people arrive by 4:45 and recommend taking the shuttle, for reasons explained above. We'd like to begin the ceremony at 5pm, so come early, grab some champagne (or sparkling juice) and find a comfy seat.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Of course! Keep in mind, alcohol will have a stronger impact at higher altitudes and we encourage everyone to take caution when consuming. We'd love for you to remember this night with us!

What is there to do in Boulder?

Answer

We're so glad you asked! We love walking around the Pearl Street Mall. There are shops and a ton of great restaurants. We also enjoy hiking and rock climbing - whether they're familiar spots or brand new to us. There are hikes with crazy views for any hiker level. Some views you can even get to while driving, if you're really against that hiking thing (no judgement). Visit our 'Things to Do' tab on our website for some more information, or please reach out!
