At Villanova in 2017, Lauren was on her way to a party when her friend, Santiago, mentioned that his childhood friends were visiting during their winter break. Lauren stopped by to say hi and briefly met Stefan, and then, in classic meet-cute fashion, neither of them really remembered each other after that.

After college, Lauren and Stefan re-connected again through the same friend, Santiago, who had hyped up Stefan to Lauren, and naturally, mentioned nothing about Lauren to Stefan. Lauren had thought there could be something there, but Stefan didn't pick up on it. Not short after re-connecting, COVID shut the world down and Lauren and Stefan became just friends.

After a few years in Philly, Lauren was getting ready to move to Boston. She casually mentioned to Stefan that he had caught her eye 2 years ago when they had met post-grad. This time, Stefan picked up on the hint, and asked Lauren out. They started dating long distance, where they developed their relationship through their own music book club, and visiting each other as much as possible. After a year of long distance, Stefan joined Lauren in Boston, and eventually they started their next chapter together in their cozy North End apartment.

Lauren and Stefan take walks along the Boston harbor nearly every day, which was fitting to be the perfect backdrop for their engagement. With the help of their amazing friends and family, Stefan popped the question. Stefan claimed he pulled off the ultimate surprise, until Lauren showed him the videos she'd taken that morning listing all the reasons she believed she was getting engaged.

Over the years, Lauren & Stefan have built their life in Boston over their love of going to concerts, trying new restaurants, and manning the touchtunes at the bar. They have enjoyed collecting post cards and trinkets from trips abroad together and cannot wait to try somewhere new on their honeymoon. We cannot wait to celebrate with everyone!
