Things To Do

Ottawa will always hold a special place in our hearts. It’s where we first met, started dating, and began building the life that led us here. We’re so excited to share this city with all of you! If you’re spending a few extra days here, Ottawa in the summer is beautiful and full of things to do. You can walk along the Rideau Canal, explore the ByWard Market for local food and shops, or visit Parliament Hill for a bit of history and some of the best views of the city! On sunny days, Major’s Hill Park and Dow’s Lake are perfect for a picnic or paddle, and if you’re up for a short drive, Gatineau Park has stunning hiking trails and swimming spots. Whether you’re into good food, nature, history, or patio drinks, there’s something here for everyone. Welcome to the Canada's Capital!
