FAQs

We know weddings come with lots of little questions (like “What should I wear?” or “Will there be cake?”), so we’ve put together this FAQ to help you navigate the weekend with ease. Think of it as your go-to guide for all things wedding-related!
Question

When and Where is the Wedding?

Answer

The wedding will be held at Orchardview Wedding & Event Center on July 11, 2026.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal. Since we’ll be celebrating in the midst of summer, we’d love to see lots of colourful, vibrant outfits! Our bridesmaids will be in lavender and the groomsmen in tan, so if you could avoid these colours, that would be wonderful. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel fabulous and ready to eat, drink, and dance the night away!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We adore your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only affair. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, enjoy the festivities, and let loose a little! Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.

Question

Do we have a registry?

Answer

Your love, support, and presence on our special day truly mean the world to us; that’s the greatest gift we could ask for. We’ve decided not to create a traditional wedding registry. If you would like to give a gift (though please know it’s not expected), we would be so grateful for contributions toward our honeymoon and future home as we begin this next chapter together.

Question

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

There is parking available at Orchard View Wedding Centre, and overnight parking is allowed. That said, we care about everyone staying safe, so we strongly encourage taking a taxi, Uber, or other rideshare if you plan to enjoy a drink (or two!) during the celebration. While you can leave your car overnight, please do not drink and drive. We want everyone to have fun, dance, and make it home safely.

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture every magical moment of our ceremony, so we kindly ask that you keep your phones and cameras away until the celebration begins.

Question

Any more questions?

Answer

If you have any more questions, please reach out to the bride or groom directly for more information. We are happy to help and accommodate as much as we can.
