Flight
New York City is serviced by three main airports: John F Kennedy, LaGuardia, and Newark. The most direct route is to fly into Newark Liberty International (EWR) and take Amtrak directly from the airport station to Hudson via New York Penn Station. If you are renting a car directly at an airport, be sure to make reservations well in advance. Shuttle service will be available at all airports to the rental companies. The main five companies are Hertz, Enterprise, Avis, Alamo, and Budget. If you planning to take Amtrak to Hudson, it's best to depart from Moynihan Hall at Penn Station, located between 31st and 32nd Sts and 8th and 9th Aves in Manhattan. For those unfamiliar with New York, Uber or Lyft is the easiest way to get there. NYC Taxis are also available from JFK and LGA. From JFK, NYC Taxis have a flat fare of $52 plus tolls and fees for rides to and from Manhattan. The cheapest option is public transportation. From JFK, take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station or Howard Beach. From Jamaica Station, you can take the E at Sutphin Boulevard (blue line) to 34th St and 8th Avenue; you may also take the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) to Penn Station, which costs a few extra dollars but saves about twenty minutes. From Howard Beach, you can take the A (blue line) to 34th St and 8th Avenue. From LGA, the most direct route is the M60 bus to 125th and Madison and walk to 125th and Park Ave. The Empire Service line stops here shortly after leaving Penn Station. Please note: if you don't have a MetroCard you will need tap-to-pay enabled on your phone to pay the bus fare.
Travel Note
There will be limited parking spaces at the venue. It will be possible to use Uber and Lyft to get around this area, but it's not the most reliable. Shuttle service will be available with multiple stops in Hudson for your convenience. Please check the Shuttle page for more information.
