We’re getting married!

Vince and I met in July 2017 when I transferred to Penn Hills High School as an Athletic Trainer. Vince had been working as an Athletic Trainer at Penn Hills since the previous year. We connected instantly and some might say I won him over with my signature swim move dance in the AT room during football camp in 2017.

Vince proposed to me on July 10, 2021 in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. We were there for our annual family vacation. On the second day of vacation, Vince got down on one knee and asked me to marry him on our pier at sunset. To say I was suprised was an understatement. I figured if he was going to ask me to marry him, he’d do it when I was dressed up, hair and make up done but nope, Vince chose to do it while I was dressed in workout clothes and my hair in a bun on top of my head. I was so surprised that my initial reaction was “shut the f**k up, is that real?!” Sorry again mom and dad! But it was a moment I’ll never forget and it was such a pretty sunset to have as our backdrop.
