Jilli is basically Holly's spiritual guide and guru.

Levi is Kyle's brother-in-law and is married to Kyle's sister, Megan. Levi is a modern day-polymath; he fixes jet-engines, practices carpentry, quotes philosophy, lifts heavy objects, and is a wonderful father to Kyle's two nephews.

Desk-mate turned bestie, Enika was Holly's favorite thing about working at NYU. Enika has been a happy source of support since Kyle and Holly first started dating, and has been a refreshing and steadying friend through job changes, NYC happy hours, home-bound adventures, and beyond.

One of Kyle's oldest friends, Mike moved in across the street while they were in High School and they've been close ever since. They share interests in many of the same books and games and stay connected through them. Mike is giving Kyle the ZZ Top treatment, designing his suit for the wedding.

Jill and Holly met in Grad School in NYC, and Jill helped Holly see the magic in the city when she was struggling to adjust. Since then, they've shared books, movies, more books, and have held each other up through major life events and mundane Tuesdays with wine and honesty.

Full-time friend, part-time foe. Andrew and Kyle were fraternity brothers in college. Andrew is a man of eclectic tastes and diverse interests. He swears he's seen Bigfoot.

Kyle and Jorge come as a set and, thank the heavens, Jorge added Brie to the mix. Brie is a bright, shiny, and overwhelmingly generous addition to Holly's life. When Kyle and Jorge are busy pair bonding or bickering like the common-law married folks they are, Brie is Holly's lifeline, and vice versa.

Chris and Kyle were also roommates and fraternity brothers in college. Alongside Buster, the three formed a triumvirate of leadership and excellence among their peers. Chris is gregarious and a social butterfly. Each year for Gold Cup Chris emerges from his den; if he sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter.
