What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors but covered, and the reception will be inside.

When should I RSVP by? When should I book my stay?

Answer

As soon as possible. We will be working to finalize our plans, guest count, and room block by May in order to make it a magical expereince! The sooner you book and RSVP the better!

How does booking travel work?

Answer

We have a wonderful travel agency for all your travel needs. Please find more information on our travel page. This agency will help you book your room from our room block options and can even help book your flight if you'd like! They will also set up transportation to and from the resort at no cost. We highly recommend booking your stay well in advance to secure your spot in our limited room block. Let us know if you have any questions!

How long should I plan to stay in Cancun?

Answer

Up to you! We will be hosting an informal Welcome Party on Thursday night that all are welcome to attend. But beyond the wedding on cermony on Saturday you are welcome to stay as long or as short as you'd like! The bride and grooms and families will be staying from Oct. 11-18. Can't wait to see you!

Do I need to bring any wedding gifts with me?

Answer

Absolutely not! We want to make your travel as simple as possible. Check out our registry page if you are intersted in sending a gift to the bride and groom that will ship directly to their home in Dallas! They would also prefer NOT to fly home with any extra baggage ;)

How does an all inclusive resort work?

Answer

All food and drink are included while staying at our resort! However, we recommend making reservations at their world class resturants in advance in order to avoid any wait times for meals.

What if I do not stay at Dreams Vista Cancun Resort?

Answer

If you chose not to stay at Dreams Vista Cancun, you will need to pay a resort fee to be on the premises during the wedding events. Please let the couple know if you prefer to stay outside the resort so they can help get you ready for the big day.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The couple has indicated on your invitation if you are allowed a plus one. If you would like to bring a date, they are welcome to join you on your trip but we polietly ask they refrain from the wedding events.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We are excited to welcome your kiddos. However, the resort does offer a childcare service if you'd prefer to explore that option.
