It all started at a bar, where Laura spent the entire night expertly flirting… and Dylan spent the entire night being blissfully oblivious. (To his credit, he eventually caught on — and hasn’t stopped noticing her since.) Luckily, fate — and maybe Laura’s persistence — had other plans. A few days later, we had our first date seeing Spider-Man: No Way Home. Between the shared popcorn, the Marvel debates, and Laura trying not to trip on the theater stairs, something just clicked. Dylan swears he “knew right away,” while Laura says she knew when she realized he’d share his snacks without hesitation. Since then, life has been full of milestones big and small. We graduated from BGSU together in 2023, moved to Gahanna a few months later, and started building our little life together — filled with cozy nights in, spontaneous adventures, and a lot of ice cream runs. Then, on a snowy January day in 2025, Dylan suggested walking Laura to school. Laura didn’t think much of it. What she didn’t know was that he had a ring burning a hole in his pocket. Somewhere between the snowflakes and the Dairy Queen parking lot, he got down on one knee and asked the easiest question he’d ever ask. Now, we can’t wait to start this next chapter as husband and wife — and celebrate with all of you who’ve been part of our story from the very beginning.
