We’re getting married!

Knowing her dream was to see the northern lights, he planned a surprise trip to Alaska filled with everything she’d hope for: hot springs, mushing, good food, and chasing the lights. On the morning of the last day, he brought her to the top of a mountain and proposed at sunrise.

After a long night of teaching Lindy Hop, he wanted to teach no more. When an experienced dancer requested his help teaching a just-arrived beginner, he said absolutely not. Then he saw her, the beginner, and he immediately changed his mind. He taught her how to dance, and the rest was history.
