One of Boquete's most popular trails leads to the Lost Waterfalls, also known as Las Tres Cascadas (The Three Waterfalls). This trail takes visitors through a lush rainforest, where they can discover three stunning waterfalls, each with its own unique charm. The second and third waterfalls feature crystal-clear pools perfect for a refreshing swim, making the experience even more special. The trail is in good condition and well-marked; however, it can be rocky and slippery in places. This is considered a moderate hike!
See a piece of Panama's coffee industry on this private coffee tour in Palmira, a small area of the Boquete District. During this hands-on experience, you'll learn everything that goes into the perfect cup of coffee, from growing to harvesting to roasting the beans. This tour offers you an immersive way to gain insight into local life (Geisha coffee tasting is also available). Definitely book in advance.
Jungla de Panama Wildlife Center is a safe haven for injured, abandoned, or surrendered animals indigenous to the cloud forest region of Panama. Visit and spend time with the animals, enjoy feeding, holding, and interacting with them on a “Daily Visit!”
Volcán Barú is an active stratovolcano and Panama’s highest mountain. On a clear day, you can see both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean from the top. We recommend booking a 4×4 jeep excursion to the top! It is a very BUMPY ride up and down, but if you want to experience the most beautiful sunrise, check out Boquete Outdoor Adventures to book your trip.
There are a variety of activities at Finca El Oasis! This location offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich biodiversity of Volcán Barú National Park.
