Where is the wedding taking place?

The wedding will be held in Boquete, Chiriquí, Panama at Valle Escondido Wellness Resort.

How do I get to Boquete?

Answer

You’ll fly into Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City, then take a connecting flight to Enrique Malek International Airport (DAV) in David. From David, it’s about a 50‑minute drive to Boquete.

Will transportation be provided from the airport?

Answer

Yes — we will arrange shuttles from the David airport to Boquete during the days leading up to the wedding. If you arrive earlier or outside the shuttle window, taxis are readily available.

Guests have access to the pool, sauna, spa, gym, and complimentary breakfast.

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

A rental car is optional. If you stay at the venue or nearby hotels, taxis and arranged shuttles are usually sufficient. If you book an Airbnb, a rental car or taxi service is recommended.

Yes — especially for the coffee tour and the Volcán Barú 4×4 sunrise excursion, which fill up quickly.

Due to its higher altitude, Boquete remains cooler than the coast, with daytime temperatures usually in the mid-70s°F and nights in the high 50s/low 60s°F. Bring a reliable raincoat or umbrella, waterproof shoes, and a light jacket for cooler evenings.

Yes! The town is very safe and walkable for all travelers, Americans, and natives alike. From Valle Escondido, it is a 1 mile (1.6km) walk down to the town center.

Yes, the Boquete downtown has a large variety of restaurants to choose from. The Centro artesanal de Boquete includes retail and artesian shops.

Is UBER available in Boquete?

Yes, Uber is a valid transportation option if required. There are also taxi's if that is preferable.

Are plug or power adapters required for electronics and accessories?

Answer

Panama uses 110V/60Hz electricity, with Type A and Type B sockets, identical to the United States and Canada. Travelers from the US/Canada do not need an adapter.
