Loaf Lounge : Logan Square
Hands DOWN our favorite cafe EVERRRR. Their danishes are our of this world good. Sweet and savory options. Amazing loaves of bread. I HIGHLY recommend putting one in your suitcase as a souvenir. That's what my mom always does!!
Mother's Ruin: Logan Square
Our favorite neighborhood place for a drink and a snack. Their food menu is way better than bar food should ever be. Our favorite is the nachos with pork carnitas AND mushrooms. The rotating frozen cocktail, their "slushy du jour" is always insanely good. They use really fresh fruits and other unique ingredients. Whatever it is at the moment you go, get it.
Longman & Eagle: Logan Square
Our favorite place to go for a nice dinner out in our neighborhood, or a special brunch. Their menu is constantly changing, so it is always a new experience. They are known for their massive selection of whiskey. PLUS they have incredible donuts every weekend.
Best Intentions : Logan Square
One of the more popular dives in the city. Knock back some High Life and Angostura shots on tap while lounging in a discreet patio or crowding around the jukebox.
Hopewell Brewing Company : Logan Square
One of the best breweries in Chicago, great place to take a break while touring Logan Square, or just quench some thirst with a variety brew styles.
Prism Games Chicago: Logan Square
Such a cool game store close to us! Board games of all kinds, awesome, friendly staff. Great place for gifts!!
Books4Cause Free Bookstore: Logan Square
A FREE bookstore in our neighborhood. Totally free, no strings attached, no membership required. Walk in, browse, pick some books, grab a reusable bag and walk out!! We love this place to death!!!! On a great street with lots of cafes, restaurants and bars.

Bang Bang Pie & Biscuits
We love the pie from here for our birthdays and the biscuits for a nice brunch. You can get slices or even a 1/2 pies. SUPER delicious!

There are tons of vintage shops in Wicker Park, just take a stroll down Milwaukee ave and you will run into all of them, amongst great brand name shopping as well.

If you are looking for views, this is the place. Go to the top for a very chic bar experience and a really interesting rooftop. We love to stop here for a drink on special occasions.
The 606 Bloomingdale Trail Bridge : Wicker Park
A beautiful above ground trail. Awesome for going on a run, renting a scooter or an e-bike on. We love going on nighttime bike rides with our friends.

Great burgers, great prices. Check out the patio under the train tracks!
Cabra: West Loop
INCREDIBLE fresh, bright flavors with a stunning view of the city. Amazing ceviche but you do not have to go raw here. The salmon Ceviche and the Solterito are our absolute favorites. They change the flavors and use seasonal ingredients and every variation has been insanely good. $$$
Kasama: West Town
Amazinggggg but be prepared for a LINE. Like a really really long line wrapped around the block. World's first Michelin starred Filipino bakery/ restaurant ever!!
Uncle Mike's Place : West Town
Filipino run brunch spot near Salvage One, offering both Filipino and classic American fare. Get the rice porridge and loganisa sausage. $
