Don’t stay in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg:
October is peak tourist season and traffic will be crazy. Book your stay closer to Townsend to ensure you will be on time for the wedding.
Book Early (At least 1 year in advance):
Fall in the Smokies is gorgeous and busy! Cabins, hotels, and rentals fill up fast - often a year in advance. Reserve your spot ASAP.
Where to Stay:
We'll share our venue's favorites below, but Airbnb offers fantastic cabins that could fit your entire travel party. Booking one big place together makes the trip more fun (and often cheaper).
Getting Around:
A car is best for exploring. Rideshares aren't always reliable here in the rural areas.
