Please join us for a pre-wedding event - a festive street fair experience with bites and sips from the streets of Bogota and Delhi! The Sangeet (in Hindi, 'sung together') is a joyous celebration that brings together the families of the bride and groom to celebrate their upcoming union. It is not a religious ceremony, but rather a way to share in the couple's happiness. The Sangeet is characterized by singing, dancing, and food, and often includes choreographed dance performances. We'll also have a henna artist for those of you who want to partake.
3:15 pm - 4:00 pm
Don't miss Will's entrance with his friends as he rides in on a vintage roadster to meet his bride! The Baraat is a tradition that represents the groom's journey to the bride's home to take her hand in marriage. The family and friends of the groom lead him in a parade of dancing and singing to the wedding venue. There, they are greeted by the Bride's family before the ceremony begins.

Join Neha and Will as they honor the sacred traditions of the Hindu ceremony, where love and faith intertwine to send them off on this journey of a lifetime. The Hindu wedding ceremony involves the bride and groom circling a sacred fire and taking seven steps together to signify their promises to each other and the start of their married life. The ceremony takes place under a decorated canopy called a "mandap" and is marked by vibrant clothing and rich rituals signifying the union of the couple and their families.
