Few people have ever had as true and precious a friend as Sami. We met in 2014 when she came to Smithtown Christian School. Sami is my ride-or-die and my sister in Christ. She has been there for me through the darkest and brightest times of our lives, and our friendship is one that is overflowing with laughter, wisdom, and love! Her heart for others is a special gift to hold and I am proud to call her my best friend.

From the day that I sat next to Christy at an empty lunch table in 2012, those two nerdy little girls were destined to journey through life together! Quiet Christy quickly transitioned from fear of Not-Quiet Mary to being a proud member of The Dynamic Duo of SCS. Since then, the distance between us as she journeyed on to veterinary school has never felt very far. Our love was built on school stress and a deep fondness for terrible movies, and therefore is indestructible.

Juliet is one of the most beautiful girls I’ve ever known, inside and out. Our friendship goes way back as teammates on the Golden Eagles Soccer Team when we were only four before we reconnected at SCS! She is a true friend who brings joy to all who know her. Her heart is so big and she always has a warm smile when you need one. Juliet is a proud entrepreneur who started her luxury custom candle business in 2022, and she will be making the unity candle for our ceremony!

As winner of the Ultimate Bridesmaid Showdown, Sarah is our beautiful Babe of Honor! I met this special lady in our kindergarten class in 2004. This girl is the definition of a girls' girl; no one will have your back like she will. Her energy is infectious, and every room she’s in lights up with her character and strength. Being close to her is an honor and she's as good for a deep-thought couch session as she is for a night on the town!

As the newest member of our group, Grace is the only friend I managed to make in college! (All thanks to Sami; just one of the many gifts she’s given me, but certainly the best.) Although we may have met while I was crying over a plate of nachos (college is very stressful), since then there have been buckets of tears of laughter. Her grounded energy brings a much-needed level of chill to our girls' group while still being the life of the party, and her relationship with God inspires me.

Alex and I are proud to be the founding members of the Monday Girls (not to be confused with the Monday Boys: see Groomsmen listed below). While fighting for our rights to be equally represented in the Monday Boys Extended Family, Alex and I became family ourselves. This beautiful girl has watched William’s and my relationship blossom from the beginning when we met in 2012 at youth group, and I am so happy to be sharing this special day with her after having shared her special day as one of her bridesmaids.

When I was a little girl, I constantly asked God to send me a little sister. I can’t tell you how happy I am that after all these years, that prayer has finally come true. Watching Liz grow up into a beautiful young woman has been a magical thing, and I feel so blessed to be welcomed into her family.

Although I consider all these lovely ladies to be my family, Miesha and I share bonds of blood. My gorgeous cousin and her family were always so far away, either in Canada or Haiti, and I can’t tell you how excited I was when they moved to Florida. It has been such a pleasure to see her more than ever these years and to know the beautiful woman she’s grown into. Even when we've been apart, once we are together it's like no time has passed at all.

Richy is my younger brother, and my best man. He, and my entire family are truly so important to me, and I am honored to share today with them. Richy has always been a constant in my life, I see so much of myself in him. I am so proud of the man he has grown into, and hope that we will continue to share experiences for the rest of our lives.

I am incredibly happy and proud to have my younger brother Gerry with me on this special day. He has grown into an incredibly wise, and intelligent man, and I am so proud of him. He is so like me in so many ways, knowing him has been such a blessing. I am so thankful for each of my family members for shaping the man I have become today.

I am always impressed with his resolve, and passion for worship. Me and him are constantly hanging out, laughing, and finding new ways to spend way too much money.
