When should I RSVP by?

What is the weather? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable and enjoy the weekend. Alexandria is a DC just over the river from Washington, DC and has similar weather. We expect it to be hot and humid in late August. The average high is in the mid-80s to low-90s and evenings cool down to the mid-70s. The ceremony will be brief, but outdoors. Please dress to meet your needs. Hats are welcome. You may also want to consider wearing breathable fabrics so you stay cooler until we start the party and crank up the air conditioning.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes. Please see the travel page for more information! Hotel rooms have been reserved at The Alexandrian hotel in Old Town, Alexandria. Please book your room by July 10.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Cedar Knoll has a small parking lot. We want you to party, have a good time, and stay safe. Car pooling or using Uber/Lyft is highly recommended.

I have a food allergy or dietary preference, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please email mm.wk.torres@gmail.com as soon as possible. Please let us know what you can eat and what's off limits. Gluten-free friends and family...we've got you covered. You can even have the cake!
