Join us as we begin our life together

We met at work during our senior year of high school. We had never actually spoken, but I had noticed Will looking at me from time to time. One day — the day Covid shut everything down — as I was coming back from my break, he asked me out in the Bi-Lo stockroom. I was impressed by his boldness (and the guitar he carried constantly), so I thought, why not? We waited over a month for our first date, but somewhere between the late night phone calls and lots of mountain dates, we built a life together. Years after one of our first dates at Sassafras Mountain, he brought me back there. He surprised me with both of our families, and asked me to marry him. Despite my suspicion, I still replied with “are you serious?,” a reply that I will never live down. From stolen glances in class to a mountaintop "yes," every moment in between felt like it was leading us here, and we can’t wait to see what's next.
