FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - We're aiming for cocktail attire, but wear anything that makes you feel bonita and comfortable (except for shades of white and jeans - let's be real, jeans are not comfortable). Feel free to flaunt fun or floral patterns! Note: The bridesmaids are wearing a cabernet red, and the groomsmen/groom will be in all black :)

Question

The Parking Situation

Answer

**IMPORTANT** There is ample parking at the venue; however, cars are NOT allowed to be left overnight or they will be towed. We will provide shuttles before and after the wedding from the two main hotels listed on the Travel page. Please plan accordingly.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

A 52-passenger school bus will depart from the Holiday Inn (Superior) at 3:30PM and arrive at the Atrium at 4:10PM. For your journey home, the shuttle will depart from the Atrium twice (once at 9PM, another at 11PM) and arrive back at the Holiday Inn (Superior). Note - the Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn are kitty-corner, so the shuttle words regardless of which hotel you book!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to capacity limitations, we kindly ask that you do not bring anyone other than those explicitly listed on your wedding invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all the little-ones in our lives, we've decided to keep our day child-free (aside from the wedding party). Please do not bring any children who are not listed on your invite.

Question

How does the bar work? Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

We are hosting a limited open-bar with a preset supply of beer and wine. Once the barrels run dry, a cash bar begins (credit and debit are also accepted). *IMPORTANT* Please do not bring your own alcohol, as this is not permitted by the venue and will result in a fine.

Question

Will there be hard liquor?

Answer

The venue does not serve hard liquor, nor does it allow outside liquor. There will be beer, wine, seltzers, and agave margaritas available.

Question

PSA FOR THE COMMUTE

Answer

Once you get into Wisconsin, mind the speed limit. Ask us how we know ;)

Question

What's For Dinner? Are There Dietary Restrictions?

Answer

We will have a pasta bar offering three different sauces (a hearty Bolognese, a creamy Alfredo, and a fresh GF/DF/VG Pomodoro), a zesty Italian salad, and rolls (because you cannot have carbs without MORE carbs, obviously).
