Welcome to Northern Michigan

We are so excited to have you join us! We have provided a number of options to help in your search for travel accommodations. Please know that our wedding is occurring the week following the National Cherry Festival which brings a lot of people to the area. We expect and have already seen hotels filling up. Many of the hotels in this area also require a two night minimum, so please reserve early. We have included a few hotels with singular night stays for those of you just joining for the evening. The Cherry Capital airport is the closest airport to our venue. It is a quick 30 minute drive to the venue and is in the heart of Traverse City. This airport is usually quiet and easy to fly with. Prices for flights range from fair to expensive.

The Grand Rapids Regional airport is located in Mid Michigan about a 2.5 hour drive from the venue and Traverse City. Flights range from Fair to moderate. GRR is another smaller easy to navigate airport.

DTW

Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport is the largest airport in Michigan and offers many flight options. DTW is about a 4hr drive to the venue and Traverse City. Flight costs are generally lower at this airport. This is a large international airport and can be quite busy at times but terminals are well marked and easy to navigate.

The Lansing Capital Region International Airport is a small and easy to navigate airport in mid Michigan about 3 hours from the venue.

Flint Bishop International Airport is another small easy to navigate airport in mid Michigan about 3 hours from the venue.

Chicago O'hare International airport is another big center for flights to Michigan. ORD is about 5 hours from the venue and Traverse City. Flights to Chicago are between fair and moderately priced.
