Fort Clinch is a beautiful spot that has a historical fort and a great view of the channel where Bill used to drive his submarine to and from the Kings Bay submarine base.

If you find yourself interested, the St. Mary's submarine museum is packed with submarine history and located in the tiny town of St. Mary's, Georgia. It's a drive from Fernandina Beach but pretty neat.
