Things To Do

Here are some of our favorites around Amelia Island:

Ciao Italian Eatery

614 Centre Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

This was the site of our first date and it is one of our favorites for italian food.

Cantina Louie (Fernandina Beach, FL)

960062 Gateway Boulevard, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

Cantina Louie is one of our favorite places to get mexican food. It is where Bill first met Jennifer's daughter Julianna.

Down Under Restaurant

96106 Wade's Place, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

This is an off the beaten path great little restaurant. Our favorite here is the cajun dry rub chicken wings.

Cafe Karibo

27 North 3rd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the downtown Fernandina Beach area. It's a delightful spot for lunch.

Ms. Carolyn's Restaurant

2120 Sadler Road, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

This is our favorite breakfast spot on the island. They also do fantastic cakes. If you like coconut cake (like Bill does), this will be the best you've ever tasted!

Moon River Pizza

925 South 14th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

If you're looking for pizza on the island, Moon river is fantastic.

Townies Pizzeria

819 T.J. Courson Road, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

If you're looking for pizza on the island, Townies is also great.

Centre Street

Centre Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

Downtown Fernandina Beach is a great place to walk around, do some shopping, and people watch! There are also lots of restaurants to choose from.

Gregor MacGregor's Mini Links & Drinks

201 Alachua Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

Our favorite putt putt golf on the island!

Amelia River Cruises & Charters

1 North Front Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

Duck Pinz

27 North 3rd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

This is a fun location for duck pin bowling.

Amelia Island Historic Tours

1 North Front Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

Sadler Road Beach Access

Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

Amelia island is known for its beautiful beaches. The Sadler road and Peters Point beach accesses allow you to drive on the sand if you desire.

Fort Clinch State Park

2601 Atlantic Avenue, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

Fort Clinch is a beautiful spot that has a historical fort and a great view of the channel where Bill used to drive his submarine to and from the Kings Bay submarine base.

Boneyard Beach

Jacksonville, FL 32226

This is a beautiful off the beaten path area with lots of driftwood.

St Marys Submarine Museum Inc

102 Saint Marys Street West, St. Marys, GA 31558

If you find yourself interested, the St. Mary's submarine museum is packed with submarine history and located in the tiny town of St. Mary's, Georgia. It's a drive from Fernandina Beach but pretty neat.

For all the days along the way
