What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire. Please be aware that Claxton Farm is an outdoor venue in the mountains. You may want to bring a shawl or jacket.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have hotel blocks at the Cambria, Haywood Park, and Kimpton Arras (see travel tab for more information/link).

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes, there will be transportation from downtown hotels to the ceremony and reception. As well as return transportation from the ceremony back to the hotels and after party. More details to come.

CAN I TAKE THE BUS IF I AM NOT STAYING AT EITHER OF THE ACCOMMODATIONS WITH ROOM BLOCKS?

Yes, please meet at the one of the hotel blocks and you will get transportation to all the events.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the venue if you choose to drive.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. Please arrive by 1:30 PM to find your seat and get settled before we begin.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Cabs and/or ubers should be available to and from the airport. Transportation will also be provided to and from the reception/ceremony. Additionally, there is plenty to do in downtown Asheville that is very walkable. Therefore it is not necessary! However, if you would like flexibility to explore the broader area, go on hikes, etc. then it might be nice to have a car!
