Question

Does it cost any money to book my cabin?

Answer

Question

When do we have to be on board on embarkation day?

Answer

All those sailing need to be on board two hours prior to the ship departing the port which is scheduled for 4:00PM.

Question

How many people can fit in one cabin?

Answer

I have seen up to four people in one cabin before, however, that is all dependent on the cabin you choose as some cabins only can hold two and three people. Naturally suites can accommodate more.

Question

When should I arrive into Orlando?

Answer

We recommend arriving into Orlando one to two days prior to the cruise. This way if you incur any sort of travel delays there is still time to arrive on time. Rooms are being held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Sunset Walk at a discounted rate.

Question

How to get from the hotel/airport to the cruise port?

Answer

We will be offering transportation via Bus from the host hotel Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Sunset Walk at 9:00AM on April 4th, 2026 to the cruise port. This will be the only time slot available. If you arrive into Orlando the day of the cruise, we highly recommend booking the Airport to Cruise Port transportation that is offered by NCL. Note: It takes one hour to get to the port.

Question

Transportation from Port Canaveral back to Orlando Airport

Answer

We highly recommend using the NCL Cruise Port to Airport transfer! This is the simplest way to get back to the airport after the cruise. (Remember the airport is about a hour away from the cruise port). If you choose to Uber/Lyft to the airport from the cruise port please note sometimes it takes them an hour or so to get to the port with traffic.

Question

When should I book my flight home for?

Answer

We always tell anyone who will listen, book any flights for AFTER 12 NOON! This will give you time to battle getting off the ship, time for taxis, time back to airport, airport security and traffic!

Question

What do I do if I am worried about getting seasick?

Answer

No worries, there are a few good remedies to try! Dramamine has been proven to be very effective and can be found in most if not all pharmacies. Also, ginger chews can be a good way to help with the seasickness!

Question

What happens if I get sick/injured on board the ship?

Answer

In the unfortunate situation you were to fall ill on board there is a complete and fully equipped medical center. The medical center is located on deck 13.

Question

What if I need a handicap room?

Answer

Handicap rooms are both available on ship as well as at the host hotel. Please know there are only a few handicap rooms available on both ship and hotel. With this being said it is better to book the handicap room AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! This way you ensure you get the room that meets your specific needs.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

The ship is VERY good about inquiring about any allergies before taking your food order including Gluten Free foods. If you are self restricting such as vegetarian or vegan let them know as well so they can make suggestions on the menu!

Question

Are there laundry facilities?

Answer

Yes! The laundry facilities are free at the host hotel, Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Sunset Walk. However, you must bring your own laundry detergent. This is highly recommended for those coming a couple days prior that want to freshen up their clothes before boarding the ship. There are laundry facilities on board ship as well. There should be forms in all of your staterooms. Note: this service is NOT free on the ship and will cost. Costs are noted on the form.

Question

Shuttle service?

Answer

The hotel has shuttle service to the following locations: 1. Disney World; 2. Disney Springs; 3. Universal Studios. The hotel does NOT have airport shuttle transportation or transportation to Orlando Port Canaveral . Orlando Port Canaveral transportation will be provided by us at 9:00AM on April 3rd, 2026 from the host hotel Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Sunset Walk, please RSVP for this on the RSVP page so we have an accurate number of guests that would like to partake in this service.

Question

Adjoining rooms?

Answer

Yes! The host hotel Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Sunset Walk offers adjoining rooms upon request first come first serve basis upon booking. Please select the adjoining rooms options and the site will list any room types that adjoin to each other. The Norwegian Joy also offers adjoining rooms. When booking, please let Patrice Wiggins know and have both parties in the room ready to book so you can lock in your rooms.

Question

Is there anything that I cannot bring on-board with me?

Answer

Yes, there are several things that the cruise line has prohibited passengers from bringing on-board. Please know if the cruise line finds any of these items in your luggage or in your room they will be confiscated and returned to you at the end of the cruise. If you are unsure if an item you want to bring is prohibited or not please go to the link below for your answer or ask Daniel or Trey. Note: certain items are allowed but still will be confiscated by ship security for further inspection before being returned to you. https://www.ncl.com/prohibited-items

Question

Can I smoke on board?

Answer

Yes, you can HOWEVER, you can ONLY smoke in designated smoking locations. You may NOT smoke on your balconies! If found smoking in a non designated smoking location this could be grounds for removal from the ship!

Question

What are the Porters?

Answer

The porters will be outside the cruise ship terminal waiting to take your larger bags from you. They will then take down your stateroom number, tag your bag, load it into a steel cage, which in turn gets loaded on to the ship. The ship staff then will distribute the luggage to your stateroom! This service is optional and often comes with a small fee and/or tip. Please know if you do not use this service you will be responsible for holding on to your luggage until the staterooms are fully cleaned and ready as you will not have access to your stateroom until then. (Some sailings will designate a spot on board to store your luggage normally a restaurant. If this is offered on this sailing there will be signage once you board). P.S. Luggage delivery can be delayed depending if security finds something in your luggage that requires them to inspect or remove something from your luggage. Luggage delivery can be delayed also deepening on how long it takes for the staterooms to be fully cleaned and ready from the previous cruise.

Question

Will staterooms be ready right when we get on board?

Answer

99% of the time staterooms will NOT be ready when you board the ship. The housekeeping staff will be working super hard and fast to turn 1000s of rooms from the previous guests. Normally, staterooms will be ready between 2:00PM and 4:00PM (we are saying 2:00PM and 4:00PM as that is the average time from our past sailings). Please know this is an estimate and can vary. For this reason we highly suggest that you pack a small backpack with items that you will need during the day while you wait for your staterooms to be ready as well as luggage delivered to your stateroom for those that take advantage of the Porter option at port. There is a slim chance that the rooms will be ready when you board. This often will be the case if the ship arrives empty as the Housekeeping staff would have had time to ready the rooms while it was sailing with no passengers. Note: Daniel and Trey have only had this happen once.

Question

What is Fire Safety?

Answer

An on board fire is one of the most dangerous things that can happen while on board at sea. Breathe easy though because each ship has its own fire department on board! They are highly trained, and do drills. The entire ship does monthly ship emergency drills which will be announced as all venues will shut down for 15 to 20 minutes (This is not the standard muster drill that will be done at the beginning of the sailing). Emergency path lighting will be lit, elevators will return to a certain floor all emergency doors will close and crew will respond as if there was a real emergency on board. So, when I say the crew is ready they are ready! You will notice certain things are done around the ship and in your rooms to prevent fires on board such as listed below: If a room steward goes to service your room and notice things left plugged into the wall sockets they will unplug them so, we always advise everyone to unplug everything in your rooms that you plug in before you leave. Smoking is ONLY permitted in designated smoking areas. Iron and Ironing Boards are NOT permitted on board! We HIGHLY recommend getting the Downy Wrinkle Release+

Question

What is a Muster Drill?

Answer

A muster drill is performed by law to be performed before the ship leaves port! There will also be a safety video emailed to all sailing guests of emergency procedures that you must watch before your allowed to proceed through the check-in process 21 days prior to sailing. The muster drill will come with instructions and an announcement from the Captain as well as a sounding of the ships emergency horns. It will be seven short blast of the horn followed by one long blast. This will be your immediate indication to proceed to your muster station which will be printed on your key card. (You will also be required to visit this station when you first board so you know where to go). If you are near your stateroom you may stop by to get your life jacket, if not proceed directly to your muster station they will have life jackets there for you! DO NOT risk your life by going back to your stateroom if you're closer to your muster station! In the rare chance that an abandon ship is called by the captain the crew will then guide you from your muster station to your designated life boat! There is space for everyone on board!

Question

How do I choose the best type of Stateroom on board for me?

Answer

The cruise ship has several different room types to choose one on several different decks. The best way to think about choosing the best room for you is thinking about what type of room would be ideal for you for a hotel stay. For those that are attending Solo and do not want to pay for Double Occupancy, NCL has rolled out Solo Cabins in the following categories: Inside Stateroom, Oceanview Stateroom and Balcony Stateroom! Please know there are only a select few of each of these staterooms available on board and once they are gone they are gone! If you do not mind a super dark with no windows an Inside Stateroom will be a good fit for you. If you want a window but don't necessarily need to be outside an Oceanview Stateroom will be a good selection. Just know most of the are not full windows but small port holes. If you want to be able to relax outside, whether it be to enjoy a cup of coffee or to take that amazing picture without being bothered by other people, a Balcony Stateroom is right up your alley! This is the stateroom that Daniel and Trey highly recommend as you never know when you may want to retire to your room and sit outside enjoying the waves and relax. Please note smoking is NOT allowed on your balcony and if you do can be grounds to be removed from the cruise. If space is what you are looking for a Suite is what you are going to need. For those that want to be a little "Pinky Up" as they say and want the luxury experience, a room in the Haven is what you need. These rooms come with a private restaurant and a personal Butler! See the FAQ about Stateroom Location on board once you have chosen which Stateroom you would like to do!

Question

What is the best Stateroom location for me?

Answer

Your location of your stateroom depends on what is important to you as a person. Personally Daniel and Trey prefer a quiet stateroom, so we always pick a Mid-Ship cabin away from elevators and stairs, on a deck that is in the middle of ship. For this ship that is decks 10, 11 or 12. If you want to be near the hustle and bustle of the pool decks and Buffet the upper decks are going to be where you want to be. Those are Decks 14, 15 and 16. If you want to be near the Atrium, Casinos, Theater and the Specialty Restaurants then the lower decks are going to be where you want to aim. Those are Decks 5, 6, 7, and 8. If you are worried about walking long distances we highly suggest choosing a stateroom that near what you are going to be wanting to do during the cruise, as well as choosing a room near the elevator and stairs. For those wondering this ship has two sets of elevator banks with 8 to 10 elevators in each bank. Those are located at Forward and Aft (Back) of the ship. If you are worried about getting sea sick a Mid-ship stateroom would be best for you! If you are in the forward section of the ship you may feel the waves more and if you are towards the aft(back) of the ship you may feel the vibration of the engines.

Question

When can I book my dining reservations?

Answer

Suites and Haven: - 130 days prior to sailing Club Balcony Staterooms: - 125 days prior to sailing All other staterooms: - For sailings that are 6 days or less and are not a holiday sailing, 90 days prior to sailing - For sailings that are 6 days or less and are a holiday sailing, 120 days prior to sailing - For sailings that are 7 days or more, 120 days prior to sailing **Update: Please know that effective immediately there will a $10.00 charge for those that no-show, cancel within 2-hours of the reservation or change times within 2-hours of the reservation!** All reservations will still be held 15 minutes past the scheduled reservation time and automatically released after that.

Question

When can I book my shore excursions?

Answer

Shore excursions are available to be booked now! However, NCL does add more and more shore excursions over time as they solidify agreements with the people that operate those excursions. With this being said we always tell folks to keep checking back for different shore excursions as if you do not see anything now, that doesn't mean there will not be something you like added later. Be advised, when shore excursions are added they are added for everyone to see so, this does mean they can fill up and disappear off the site. If you see something that you absolutely have to do or have been wanting to do and you see it, book it so you don't miss out on it.

Question

First time flyer?

Answer

For our first time flyers here are some things to help you streamline your vacation: -NEVER FLY DOWN THE DAY OF! You will immediately stress yourself out if your flight cancels or delays because airlines are tasked with getting you from your origin part to Orlando or whatever your end destination is. They will do their best to get there before the boat leaves but are no obligations to get you there before the boat leaves or to fly you to the first port. - NEVER BOOK A 30 MINUTE CONNECTION! Always give yourself a two hour connection as delays will happen an most of the time if you book a 30 minute connection and there is a delay you won't make your connection which adds stress to your trip. - Always make sure you arrive at the airport 2 - Hours prior to departure. If you're at a large station arrive 2.5 - Hours prior to departure to give time for parking and shuttle to the airport -If you are flying in Economy most airlines limit you to 50 Pounds per bag and there are charges per bag. American is $40.00 ($35.00 online) for the first bag and $45.00 for the second bag. If you are in first class, you normally get two free checked bag up to 70 pounds. Please check with your airline about their baggage policies. - Make sure you are at your gate at your boarding time, all airlines have policies where boarding ends, and seats are released to standby passengers. American is 15 minutes prior to departure. - While we may start out the trip with some drinks don't have too many, airlines WILL deny you boarding if they feel that you are too intoxicated to fly. This could be a safety issue should an emergency arise on board. - Join the airlines rewards programs, planes are built for passengers not bags. Joining the airlines rewards program will most likely give you a higher boarding group. American members will board with group 6 out of 9. This will help ensure you get your carry on bag on board and not checked when they run out of space towards the later groups.

Question

Credit Card Vs. Debit Card

Answer

Please be advised when using a debit card at the hotel and as payment for on board expenses when you check in at the port, the amount of the hotel cost will be drafted right out of your account, the same for the cruise they will hold a set amount of money off your card. You will get this back in the form of a refund for any unused expenses. This differs from a credit card which just places a pending transaction on your account and the amount isn't truly drafted out of your account until the end and any extra held is immediately released.
