Yes! Bookings at this venue are HIGHLY competitive regardless of weekend or weekday. We didn't want to wait until 2027 to try and get a weekend date so here we are! Since most of our guests will be traveling and have to take time off anyways, we decided to just celebrate on a Tuesday!
No- we are going fully digital! You will get a STD/invite via text and/or email. The STD will request additional info for thank you cards.
May 1st. The earlier you are able to decide the better for booking hotels/flights. This is a smaller venue so we have a limit on # of attendees. Invites will be sent through Paperless Post digitally with a link to RSVP directly online- SUPER EASY.
Yes. Since you will likely be gone from home for more than a day or two for this event -either bring the whole family for an extended vacation OR use it as an excuse to leave the kids at home and spend some alone time enjoying a party! We'll leave that decision up to you :)
Our space is very limited - if you are provided a plus 1 it will be indicated on your invite.
We want you to be comfortable but also have fun dressing up! We ask that people dress in cocktail/semi-formal attire. We are having a mountain wildflower theme - so think fun floral colors! As the evening wears on, it can get chilly so feel free to bring a change of warmer clothes for the afterparty if you'd like!
Mountain weather is extremely unpredictable. Average July temps have a high of 75 and low of 45 overnight. Rain tends to pop up and leave very quickly. Pack summer clothes but some warm cardigans/pants as well.
YES! We have the entire campground reserved Monday-Wednesday. This includes 2 large group sites that can hold 100 people each. We welcome you to stay for FREE! They have pit toilets and we will provide water, and there are local options for showers. We plan on staying there the night of the wedding and Will the night prior. If you are flying and cannot bring camping gear - there are options to rent tents or RV/Campers (see travel page). Please contact us if you plan on staying!
We hope everyone can stay for longer but we only have the campground for 2 nights. There are a plethora of campsites within 20-30 minutes that are free or low fee (Blue River Campground in Silverthorne, Horseshoe campground in Parshall are two of our favorites, as well as Prospector campground right next door to Windy). Alternatively - there's an unlimited amount of Airbnbs and hotels to choose from! We plan on being in town from 02Jul-11Jul.
The campground is technically in Dillon Colorado, however the lake is central to Summit County which boasts some of the BEST mountain towns around. Our favorite is Frisco, a smaller quaint town with lots of charm. Dillon/Silverthorne mesh together as one on the north side of the lake, slightly less touristy. Lastly, Breckenridge is just a short drive down the road as well - has unbelievable food and brewery options! Great place to explore. We would recommend AirBnBs in Silverthorne or Dillon especially if you plan on using our shuttles to and from the ceremony.
Yes - as a destination wedding there will be costs for you to attend. We cannot express this enough that we do not want anyone who is invited to feel pressured to incur those expenses just for us. With that, the cost will vary widely on how you chose to travel and lengh of stay. This can be very affordable if you plan to drive and camp! If you fly, rent a car and stay in airbnb/hotels then the price goes up. There is a LOT to see so I would expect to plan for a vacation budget if you are able to do some sightseeing/exploring.
We have a very small registry. Our primary 'registry' items are monetary gifts towards future projects or trips. We have a few items on our registry and if you would like to send a physical gift please ship directly to us (7755 Helena Rd Arena WI 53503) or hold onto anything back into Wisconsin. We will have an area for cards if you wish. Gifts big or small - it’s a gift in itself to have you join us on this day!
Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome for the day after breakfast and rehearsal dinner. Colorado is very dog friendly - dogs allowed in most shops/breweries/restaurants as well as our venue! You can expect to see Merle and Meili in attendance for the ceremony.
Yes the campground has two group sites for 100 people each. There will be plenty of parking for those who want to drive and a shuttle will be provided as well.
