Our celebration dinner spot! Top half is a beautiful restaurant full of delicious Gluten Free Food! The bottom half is a bar where they hold special events and community get togethers!
Ghostfish Brewing Company - Taproom & Restaurant
Ghostfish Brewing Company is a 100% Gluten Free Brewery! Down the street from T-Mobile Park! Very good with any allergies! Churros there are lethal! Amazing food, great for Pre-Game or Pre-Show!
Pike Place Market
If there is only one thing you did in Seattle, this is the one thing we'd recommend. So much good food and fun shops.
Waterfront Overlook Park
Now if you listened to our advice and went to Pike Place, you can't miss Waterfront Overlook Park. It is a wonderful place to see the stunning views of the Salish Sea, the Olympic Mountains, and (weather permitting) Tahoma herself. We've spent many a morning getting biscuits from Honest Biscuits and taking in the view.
Piroshky Piroshky
Fried dough stuffed with tasty fillings. A greasy staple in any visit to the market. Chloe recommends either the salmon or beef and cheese.
Honest Biscuits
This is where we go when we want to have breakfast at the market. The biscuits are HUGE and very tasty.
Cinnamon Works
Huge cookies and great pastries right in the heart of the market. Chloe likes the molasses cookie and Will likes the Monster cookie.
Seattle Aquarium
The Seattle Aquarium recently added the Ocean Pavilion featuring marine life from all over the world. Also easy to get to via the Waterfront Overlook Park if you wanted to combine this with a visit to the market.
Alki Beach
A great place for a long walk, bike rides, and to watch the sunset. Lots of wonderful restaurants with views of the Olympic mountains, the Salish Sea, and the Seattle skyline.
West Seattle Arcade
We finally have an arcade on the beach! It has all the classics such as pinball and skee-ball. There is also a 21+ arcade down the street called Gary's Place.
Marination Ma Kai
A Hawaiian taco restaurant right on Alki next to the water taxi dock. It has a beautiful view of the Seattle skyline.
Lincoln Park
One of our favorite places for an easy walk along the water. We've also have been able to spot seals and river otters here! Great spot to Listen to "A Thousand Suns" or "Minutes To Midnight" by Linkin Park
Bruun Idun - The Lincoln Park Troll
Bruun Idun is part of the Northwest Trolls: Way of the Bird King project, which features six giant hand-built troll sculptures by Danish environmental artist, Thomas Dambo.
Luna Park Cafe
If you want a classic diner with a bunch of vintage artifacts to look at, this is the place to go! Jukeboxes at your table, great milkshakes, and so much nostalgia. You'll find stickers from the cafe all over, including on Chloe's laptop!
Alaska Junction
The heart of West Seattle. Sunday is the weekly farmer's market. Plenty of shopping, dining, and coffee!
Easy Street Records & Cafe
We go here all the time to buy CDs and vinyl. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch and gets busy on the weekends.
Lula Coffee Co
This is where we regularly get our coffee in West Seattle. You will see polaroid pictures of our cats when you first enter the cafe.
Bakery Nouveau
If you prefer a pastry with your morning coffee, you can’t go wrong with this French bakery. The shop is owned by a world champion baker and has been a West Seattle staple for 20 years. The double baked almond croissant is a must-try!
Mioposto Pizzeria
Their happy hour pizza is the perfect size for one person. They also have a tasty brunch! They do not take reservations, but they do have an online waitlist (which we recommend using on the weekends).
Grillbird West Seattle
If takeout is more your speed, Grillbird is our go-to "I don't wanna cook tonight" option. They have classic Seattle Teriyaki and all the fixins. Even the "Base" meal ends up being big enough for two dinners.
Queen Mary Tea Room & Restaurant
Fall is the perfect time for afternoon tea. Chloe and her mother and sister go here to celebrate birthdays and Mother's day. We recommend making reservations and arriving on an empty stomach because they give you so much food!
Mr. B's Mead Center
A very instagrammable place to try all sorts of mead. They frequently host events on weeknights and their meads come in a wide range of sweetness levels.
Matthews Winery
If you want a taste of Washington wine country and don't mind a 45 minute drive, Woodinville is the place to go to try Washington wines. Matthew's is one of Chloe's favorites.
Tipsy Cow - Woodinville
The burgers, the milkshakes, the fries! So so so good. This is a good spot for dinner after a day of wine tasting. They are able to make all their burgers vegetarian by replacing the patty with a portobello mushroom. Our cats always try to steal our burgers when we order from here.
