Flight

La Paz (LAP) or Los Cabos (SJD)

You have two airport options when flying into Baja: LAP (La Paz International Airport) is the closest to La Ventana (less than an hour away), but it has fewer international flights and fewer direct options. SJD (Los Cabos International Airport) is about two hours away, but it offers better international connections, including direct flights from the US and Europe. Here are a few direct flight options: Portland (PDX) -> Los Cabos (SJD) – Alaska Airlines Los Angeles (LAX) -> La Paz (LAP) – Alaska Airlines Frankfurt (FRA) -> Los Cabos (SJD) – Condor (Mondays and Fridays only) Once you're here, there’s no public transportation or taxis in La Ventana, so renting a car is your best bet for exploring. Cars can be rented at the airport or locally. If you’d rather not rent, shuttles are available, and there are plenty of bars, restaurants, and stores within walking distance of the venue and nearby hotels.

Eric Zhevel's Seahorse Rent a Car is a highly recommended local car rental service. While based in La Paz, Eric can arrange pickup from Cabo and drop-off at any airport, or even deliver the car directly to La Ventana.

Located in Los Cabos, Cactus offers affordable rentals and a complimentary shuttle to and from Los Cabos International Airport.

Baja Joe's

Right on the beach and just next door to our venue, Baja Joe’s has a variety of rooms to choose from. It’s a great spot to kick back, with a bar, rooftop yoga, and lots of fun activities to enjoy during your stay. Just a 3-minute stroll down the beach from our venue, Aqua Ventana is a cute boutique resort with comfy rooms right by the water. There’s a beachfront pool, jacuzzi, firepit, hammocks, and plenty of sunbeds to chill out on—perfect for relaxing after all the wedding fun!
