Message our favorite fisherman, Guadalupe, on WhatsApp to arrange an amazing fishing experience! He can fit around 8 people on his boat and the cost is around 5000 pesos for a day. He'll even filet your catch for you to take home! If you are extra lucky, you may spot other amazing wildlife along the way, including dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays, and whales.
Mountain biking is big draw to La Ventana. There are several mountain bike rental shops in town, including Rancho Cacachilas Adventure Hub: https://www.ranchocacachilas.com/adventure-hub-en The trails are split into two sections: the north trails and the south trails. The north trails are more difficult and for more experienced riders. The south trails wind through the cardon forest and don't have a lot of elevation gain. All trails are marked on the TrailForks app: https://www.trailforks.com/region/la-ventana-17358/ Will's favorite are the north trails!
Windsports are the most popular thing to do in La Ventana. There are countless of kite schools in town. Both the bride and groom have taken kiting lessons at Elevation Kiteboarding School next to Baja Joe's and Marlisa has taken winging lessons from Ilaria at Baja Wing & Watersports.
