Things To Do

Durham Bulls Athletic Park

409 Blackwell Street, Durham, NC 27701

One of our favorite Durham activities is going to watch the Durham Bulls play! The Bulls are in town our wedding weekend! They are playing on Friday, July 31st at 6:45pm and Sunday, August 2nd at 5:05pm. We recommend getting Two Roosters ice cream and a hot dog!

Sarah P. Duke Gardens

2000 Lewis Street, Durham, NC 27705

This is great place to go for a walk! There are various paths you can take while you enjoy the beautiful scenery. Duke Chapel and Sarah P. Duke Gardens are just a short walk apart (about 10–15 minutes).

Al Buehler Trail

3001 Cameron Blvd, Durham, NC 27705

If you are staying at Washington Duke, this is a great option for a walk! The Al Buehler trail is a 3 mile loop around Duke's golf course. There is plenty of shade and water fountains along the trail. You can access the trail right off of the Washington Duke parking lot. This trail is fairly hilly.

Bull McCabe's Irish Pub with the TanDurm Kitchen

427 West Main Street, Durham, NC 27701

We went here on our first date! Anna's favorite place in Durham. They have a large outdoor patio with plenty of seating and fans in the summer. Highly recommend their chicken tenders and fries.

Parts & Labor

723 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham, NC 27701

A great place to get a drink and a bite to eat! Located in the heart of downtown Durham.

Foster's Market

2694 Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard, Durham, NC 27707

A great place for brunch, lunch, or a coffee!

Hutchins Garage

402 West Geer Street, Durham, NC 27701

Our favorite place to grab a pizza and drink! We recommend the fried chicken pizza! Located across the street from Motorco Parts and Labor.
