Yes, we would love to see our guests dressed up with us! Please think formal attire: ladies—long or midi dresses or dressy separates; men—suit and tie.
Ceremony Parking: Duke Chapel is located on Duke University’s campus. Visitor parking is available in nearby garages; we recommend the Bryan Center Parking Garage, which is the closest and easiest option. Parking is pay-to-park, and signage on campus will direct you to visitor parking. Please allow a few extra minutes for parking and the short walk to the Chapel. There is also the Science Dr Visitor Lot that’s pay-to-park. It’s a short walk to the Chapel. Reception Parking: Complimentary self-parking is available at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club. Valet parking is also offered for an additional fee. There are plenty of Ubers available in Durham as well! It is a mile drive from the Chapel to Washington Duke.
We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early so everyone is seated before the ceremony begins at 3:00 PM. Please allow extra time for parking as well.
