While we have activities starting in the Point Reyes area from Friday evening, we fully understand if you're only able to come up on Saturday for the ceremony and reception. We’ll take you for however long we can get you! We think most people traveling in will want to stay Friday and Saturday night up in Point Reyes. We don’t have any plans or events on Sunday, but be aware that the drive back to SF takes you through some windy rural roads which will also be dark at night — so account for that if you're planning on leaving Saturday evening.
Getting a car to drive to, from, and within Point Reyes is your best way to enjoy the area. Uber/Lyft is not a reliable option within the area.
We will be providing a shuttle service on the day of the wedding to and from Inverness, about a 12 minute drive from the wedding venue. The shuttle will likely leave around 3.30pm from Inverness to the wedding venue and then make at least two trips back to Inverness at the end of the day, one at 10pm and one at midnight. Understanding that alcohol and cars don’t mix well, we highly encourage anyone who is ready to party at the wedding to stay either onsite at Olema House, the Inn at Roundstone Farm, or in Inverness (and rely on the shuttle service for wedding day transportation). For those driving, there will be sufficient parking at the wedding venue.
Zach says: Basically we’ll be in tuxes and want you to look and feel your best!! So wear whatever makes you feel fancy :) Will says: Wear a tux! Or if you are allergic to tuxes for some reason, a black/midnight blue suit and tie. Ladies, the wedding venue is mostly grass and somewhat uneven, so thicker heels are probably better.
As much as we love them, no on the first two :( As for plus ones, let us know if there’s someone special in your life we might’ve missed and we’ll be happy to invite them!
September in Point Reyes will likely be glorious! But it’s still Northern California, and gets colder after dark, so layers are a good idea.
If you see an option to RSVP for the Friday Night Dinner on the RSVP page, that means space is still available. We'll remove that option once seats fill up. All who are in/around Point Reyes are welcome and invited to join on Friday night, but please RSVP to secure a spot! (As of June 22, seats have filled up for this. If space opens up, we'll reach out individually, still based on the timing of your RSVPs.)
