The ceremony will begin at 2, so it's a good idea to get there a little early! We suggest around 15 to 30 minutes to allow time for finding the venue and parking.
Yes! The main parking lot is limited so carpool if you can. If needed the venue will open a back field for parking but that is best for trucks and off-road capable vehicles.
Our venue requires that we hire a babysitter for every so many kids, PLEASE let us know if you want to bring your kids and their ages ASAP. Unexpected kids will be given an animal guide and sent into the woods.
YES!!!! There is a food allergy section on the RSVP card and if it is serious/ life-threatening please text Tia ASAP so we can work with our caterer. (7o7)267-88o3 If you have non-life threatening but still important dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten-free, etc) include that in the RSVP and we'll make sure to accommodate. There will be a large assortment of food so you will have plenty of options. (Charcuterie style)
There are plenty of hotel options in Eureka, Fortuna, and Arcata. Remember that Eureka is closer to the venue. There are also Airbnbs, regular B&Bs, historic inns, campgrounds, and more.
If you have a tradition of getting married couples something you think will be helpful or meaningful in life, maybe you received something for your wedding and think we would enjoy something similar, we will probably love it. Otherwise, click the "Registry" tab to see what else we have planned.
The sun will set at 6:30. We plan to have all major events done by then, this will be a good time to head out if you are worried about driving a narrow road in the woods in the dark. If your husband's nodding off in the corner or your kids are getting cranky, this is the time to say goodbye without feeling like you're leaving too early. (If you need to leave earlier, that's okay!)
