Sh 6 / 1693 Gibbston Highway, Gibbston 9371, New Zealand
Please arrive by 3:00 PM. The bus will pick up guests at 2:45 PM from downtown Queenstown if you'd like a ride. You're also welcome to drive yourself—there’s parking available at the venue.
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be indoors.
You must apply for an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) before traveling. When applying, you'll also pay an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL)—typically about NZD $100 (about $60.15 USD)
You’ll fly into Auckland first, then catch a connecting flight to Queenstown, since there are no direct international flights to Queenstown. Once you land in Queenstown, the town center is just a short 15-minute drive from the airport. The wedding is about 20-minutes away from the airport, and 25-30 minutes from the town center.
We would love your kids to come if they don't mind the travel!
The event is a black tie affair, so please dress to impress—tuxedos and formal gowns encouraged! The ceremony is outside, so bring your nicest hat or visor! The more colorful the better~
Yes, feel free to take pictures with your phones and cameras—but please wait until after the “I do’s” during the ceremony. We’ve got a professional photographer capturing the moment, and we promise their photos will be way better than yours. 😄
February offers mild, pleasant temperatures, decent sunshine, and generally reasonably dry conditions. Daytime highs around 20-25°C (68-77 °F)—it’s often the warmest month of the year. Relative humidity is fairly high at around 74–77%. Rain typically falls over 9 to 15 days in February. Even short bursts of rain usually pass quickly—it's more often light showers than dowpours. Sun hats and SPF-rich sunscreen are key essentials, even on overcast days.
Please feel free to reach out to either of us if you have any questions!

Please, you don't have to feel bad. Enjoy! Even if they have a tip jar, it's to fool foreigners. If it's like an A+++ out of the gate experience and they gave you a happy ending, then sure, go for it.
You know how we wait for the bill? You don't have to do that. Just go to the front and leave when you want and pay there at the cashier.
There's a reason. Don't road rage here, unless you want to find out why.
Left side! Also, you're able to drive with your USA license so renting a car is very easy. In New Zealand roundabouts, you indicate (blink) right when approaching if you intend to turn, and then indicate (blink) left when exiting. If you are going straight through, you don't need to indicate (blink) right as you approach, but you should indicate (blink) left before your exit.
You know how we can yield and turn right at a light? Can't do that here. There are traffic cameras everywhere and will take a picture of you and your vehicle. When in doubt, only go when there is a green light.
Don’t expect to grab dinner at 9 p.m.—many places stop serving food by 8 or even 7 p.m., especially outside the big cities.
