We have reserved a block of rooms here. The Hyatt is just 2 miles from the Friday night venue, and 9 miles (15 minutes) to the wedding venue. Our group rate is $189/night for a Single King or $199/night for a 2-Queen, valid for stay dates of October 31- November 2, 2025. The cutoff date to make reservations in our hotel block is October 3, 2025. ***We just added some more rooms to the block! We are planning to gather in the roomy hotel bar in the lobby after the wedding and will have a shuttle or uber vouchers to assist with travel. Shuttle
Shuttle from the Hyatt to the Honeysuckle
November 1, 2025 3:30 pm - 10:00 pm
We have hired Carolina Livery to make two trips out to the wedding venue! They will also make return trips at the end of the night, as requested, and the final return shuttle leaves the Honeysuckle at 10:00 pm. It is a 40 passenger bus, the first trip will leave the Hyatt Southern Village at 3:30 pm, the second trip at 4:10 pm. If you're able to take the earlier shuttle, there will be Cornhole, frisbee, and other games to enjoy at the venue until the ceremony at 4:30 pm. Anyone may use the shuttle, not just guests at the Hyatt! Feel free to take an Uber/Lyft to the hotel to catch the shuttle. If you want to take the shuttle and park your personal car, you may park anywhere on Market Street in Southern Village, or in the lots there. Do not leave your car in the hotel parking lot unless you are a guest there.

This is another hotel option, a little farther out of town (25 minutes from the venue) but ideally with less of the football crowds and prices!
Travel Note
Reserve Early
Chapel Hill is a college town, and UNC Chapel Hill is hosting a football game on November 1. Accommodations are likely to book quickly. Transportation to/from the venue on Saturday: Our venue is only ~13 minutes west of town but we have been advised to schedule Lyfts/Ubers ahead of time since service can be spotty there. We are also looking into hiring a shuttle service, TBD!

Rentals in Chapel Hill will be closest to the venue, other close towns are Hillsborough (20 mins), Durham (30 mins), and Pittsboro (30 mins).

RDU Airport
Raleigh Durham International Airport is the closest airport if you're flying into the wedding. It's about 30 minutes from Chapel Hill.
