Hannah is one of Lauren's 3 younger sisters, but only be 16 months (oops!). Hannah likes to believe she's the favorite - since she's everyone's favorite - which is why she was the obvious choice for maid of honor. Hannah has always looked up to Lauren growing up, and has loved watching Lauren achieve her dreams through the years. Hannah is so proud to call Lauren her big sister, and can't wait to see her and Will start their lives together! She also can't wait for free Botox for life... and the vacations Will promised to take Hannah on if she said yes when Will asked for permission to marry Lauren.
Alyse Powell

Alyse is not only my youngest sister, but also my favorite! She has always wanted to be just like me, which has led us to do many things together. From the early year’s of lifeguarding, buying the exact same clothes as me, being a UVA fan, and now being obsessed with my cat Oliver; you can call her a mini me. She loves keeping Will on his toes, and getting married won’t change that. She is hoping to be my office manager one day in my private practice, and you bet I’ll hire her!
Amy Powell

Amy is one of Lauren’s three younger sisters.. arguably her favorite! Lauren and Amy have known each other for 25 years. Lauren has not only been a big sister, but also a mentor, Amy’s boss at one point, and one of her best friends. Amy is not only excited for Will and Lauren’s wedding, but also for them to finish residency as she hopes to reap the benefits of their specialties- plastics and free NBA tickets. Cheers to happily ever after.. for all three of us!
Anna Harry

Lauren met Anna at the University of Virginia during sorority rush. After their very first conversation, Anna set her sights on making Lauren her little sister. The two became fast friends and, several Qdoba dates and daily text exchanges later, they officially became Big and Little. They have shared a special bond over the last decade, including an affinity for Mexican food (corn), preppy attire, emojis, and Chris Brown.
Haley Gotshall

Haley met Lauren lifeguarding 1st year at UVA. They quickly realized they both have the middle name Elizabeth and favorite animal is a pig. Of course, they knew then they were destined to be lifelong best friends. When cleaning up after a swim meet, Lauren asked if Haley was going to any parties that weekend. At that time, she didn't realize Haley had selected partying as her first year major. They've been hooked on the dance floor ever since.
Henry Bataller
Best Man
Henry, or Herny, is Will’s older brother. He and Will both went to the same college, made the same trip to Asia, and are both equally adept at finding ways to peeve their significant others. Having said that, Henry is much better at the last part. If you run into Henry at the wedding, do not hesitate to ask him more about the times he sleep-strangled Will, or how much power you can add to a tennis ball before it just becomes unnecessary and dangerous for your doubles partner. Henry is also looking forward to having Lauren as a sister, as she is a shining example of how the Batallers continue to marry smarter women than themselves.
Joe Szewczyk
Groomsman
Joseph and Will have known each other since middle school and have retained the mindset of children ever since. If you have met the two together, you’ll find that they don’t necessarily need to have you there as they are each others’ best company. Joseph could be upset that he is losing Will to Lauren, but little does Lauren know that Will and Joe can never be separated. Hope you enjoy being the second fiddle, Lauren!
Jacob Dickson
Groomsman
Jacob and Will both share a lot in common. Both have an encyclopedic knowledge of Wizards basketball, both have looked out of place in countless concerts including Vince Staples and Earl Sweatshirt, and both know that Nikki has more patience than any other person on this world. Though Will continues to miss Jacob’s company NBA tickets for games, he looks forward to having him in his groomsmen party where Nikki can get a break for at least a few hours.
Logan Disch
Groomsman
Will has been lucky enough to spend years with the duo that is Logan and his wife, Michelle. As part of this relationship, Will has been lucky enough to see Logan bud into a connoisseur of getting into heated exchanges with rude attendees of the New York Philharmonic, late night Wawa mac and cheese bowls, and redefining the way simple words like “nice” are pronounced. Will can’t wait to have Logan back on the east coast where he can easily exploit Logan and Michelle’s housing in New York City.
Matt Van Dongen
Groomsman
Will first met Matt in college through a medical service trip and has, since then, followed in his trails of going to medical school, moving out of the Richmond area, and instantaneously missing RVA. Over the years of knowing Matt, Will prides himself on knowing all the ways to spell his last name, ranging from Van Borgen to Dr. Donger to Father Van Gongren. Will hopes to one day join Matt in the Richmond or Philly area where his love of craft beer and liquor can be viewed as “something to keep an eye on” for Lauren.
Avi Bataller
Ring Bearer
Avi looks forward to being the ring bearer of this wedding, falling only 3rd in his "favorite things" list to dinosaurs and hearing his name being chanted on loop for a good minute. If you do end up saying hello to him at the wedding, don't be shocked if you find that he is already by far the smartest of the Bataller boys, and he already knows this.
