There are a lot of VRBO and Airbnbs in Buena Vista. If you'd like to stay with a larger group, this is a great way to go. We'd recommend trying to stay as close to Main Street or South Main Street as possible.

Great place, please note it is not on Main street, may require a car to go from Main street area after wedding reception transportation drop-offs. Beautiful hotel right on the river. A few guests were able to book rooms early but it has since been fully blocked by another wedding party happening in the area.

If you want to rent a 4WD that isn't available at the airport, check out Turo where you rent directly from owners. It's like airbnb for cars.

Corrine - On Demand Transportation

Flight

Denver International Airport

DIA is about 40 minutes outside the downtown center of Denver and about 2h45 to Buena Vista. PLEASE NOTE: Friday afternoon traffic getting out of Denver to the mountains can be horrendous, please plan accordingly!

Train

Airport to Union Station - Light Rail Line A

There is a lightrail train (Line A) that goes every 15 minutes from the airport to Union Station downtown. It's about $9, you must buy a ticket before boarding. Otherwise Uber and Lyft service the airport as well for about $25-45 depending on time of day to Denver.

Flight

Colorado Springs Airport

Colorado Springs airport is about 40-50 mins closer than the Denver International Airport, however it may be more expensive to fly into CO Springs.

Shuttle

Dvorak Rafting Company Bus

September 28, 2019 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm

There will be a shuttle (44 person school bus) picking people up from The Surf Hotel and The Best Western. The shuttle will start at 4pm at The Surf Hotel and pick up at the Best Western by 4:20pm to make sure everyone is at The Barn at Sunset Ranch no later than 4:45pm to be seated. There is only one bus going from town to the venue. The first of two buses to return to town from the reception will leave right at 10pm stopping at The Best Western and The Surf Hotel and the last bus will leave at 11pm with an additional stop at The Lariat for the after-party. If you leave your car overnight at The Barn at Sunset Ranch you MUST pick it up by noon on Sunday.
