Since it's been a decade of us being together, we're sure most of you know this story by now, but let's take a little trip down memory lane! Our story begins back in August of 2015, when Will made the ultimate move: a Twitter DM (see screenshot below haha). Will took a chance and started a conversation on Twitter asking about one of our school's senior year traditions, the track painting, and Julie didn't hesitate to respond and carry on the conversation. Junior year, we had classes together and spent most of our time silently crushing on each other from across the room. We were both secretly hoping the other person would be brave enough to spark up conversation first...that didn't work! Senior year, our school schedules aligned again and we were put in the same class. This time, we finally sat next to each other and had some common ground since we had been DMing on Twitter a few weeks before school started. We finally exchanged numbers and after a few more messages we took a leap and went to homecoming together a few weeks into our senior year. This then lead to us having our first official date, a hike at Great Falls, and from that point on we were inseparable. We started dating on October 17th, 2015 and have never looked back! Even when we went to different colleges, we survived a year of long distance (shoutout to FaceTime and the ability to visit each other almost monthly) and eventually, Will transferred to Julie’s school, University of North Florida, and the rest is history. After college, we moved back to Northern Virginia and built a life together in DC/Arlington, where we've been for the past four years. On November 9th, 2024, Will popped the question in one of our favorite areas, the waterfront in DC, and Julie said yes (with zero hesitation and a few happy tears). Now, nearly a decade after that DM, we’re getting MARRIED! We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with the people who’ve cheered us on from the start. Whether it's our family, family friends, childhood friends, high school friends, college friends, and even DC friends we just met a short 2-3 years ago, we couldn't be more thankful for everyone's support and willingness to celebrate our love! Let the festivities begin!!!
