Is this a wedding or what?

Answer

Yes! And also it's a party to celebrate our union and all of the wonderful friends and family who have supported us, loved us, and brought us to who and where we are today.

Will we see the actual marriage ceremony?

Answer

We wish we could invite everyone to join in on the ceremony, but space will not allow it. For this reason, we are limiting the ceremony to just close family and friends to witness the exchange of vows. HOWEVER, at 10:00 during the Reception, we will push pause on the music and merriment to form a circle of love and perform a Handfasting Ceremony. We will repeat our vows, honor the magic of the night and union, and send out love and light to all those around us.

Will there be food?

Answer

Maybe! Depends on when you arrive, but we'll have light hors d'oeuvres, plenty of drinks, and maybe a cupcake or cookie or two to help keep you energized.

Can I bring extra guests?

Answer

Sorry! Since we have limited space at Brothers and Sisters, please limit your plus ones to those on the guest list. Others are welcome to hang out in the adjacent lobby, but will need to get their own libations across the way or at the upstairs bar.

What should I wear??

Answer

Girl, anything goes! Be it suits, a vintage Golden Girls style shoulder padded number, or a more traditional route, wear whatever makes you feel absolutely fabulous and totally you! Our theme is flowers and sequins, so surprise us with a lewk, please! It is a celebration after all, so the more sparkle and accessories, the better. But again, you do you bb.

Is there parking?

Answer

Probably not! Adams Morgan on a Saturday night is notoriously a parking nightmare. We recommend walking or ride sharing (just don't be those people on scooters, unless you're making an entrance out of it).

Should we bring gifts?

Answer

No! Your presence and energy are all we want! But if you insist, we do have a honey moon fund you can contribute to (see registry link).
