Things To Do

If you are in town for the weekend, let us be the first to say "welcome!" Whether you are joining us for the ceremony, the reception, or both, we wanted to share our favorite ways to spend a day in Cleveland and its many vibrant neighborhoods. All of the neighborhoods listed are no more than a short Uber ride away from the hotel. By the end of the weekend, you'll have the lay of The Land.

University Circle

Cleveland, OH

Breakfast and coffee: The Coffee House at University Circle. Late morning: The Cleveland Museum of Art (breathtaking atrium and some world-class art. [Free admission too.]) Lunch: Algebra Tea House (Or any spot in Little Italy). Make sure to grab something sweet at Presti's or Corbo's bakeries. Afternoon: Cleveland Botanical Gardens, Cleveland Museum of Natural History (newly renovated), or walk through the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. Dinner and drinks: L'Albatros (great French place), The Jolly Scholar (fun brewpub)

Gordon Square Arts District

Cleveland, OH

Breakfast and coffee: Gypsy Beans & Baking Co.; Ready Set Coffee Roasters Late Morning: Walk down W65th Street to Edgewater Beach Lunch: Luxe Kitchen & Lounge Mid Afternoon: Shopping local boutiques (Cool World for some souvenirs; Slow Union for some throwbacks (also a good alias for Ang and Will's relationship) Dinner and Drinks: Astoria Café & Market (amazing patio and cocktails), Il Rione (great pizza), or Happy Dog (fun dive bar); Stone Mad Pub (excellent patio for a beer and bar food), Good Company (retro-style diner with really good burgers)

Ohio City

Cleveland, OH

Breakfast: TownHall (great healthy eats), Le Petit Triangle (tiny cool French place), Johnny Mangos (fun and casual), Index (coffee shop and bookstore), Edda (beautiful space) Late Morning: West Side Market (fun to walk around and talk to the many vendors) Lunch: Larder (for the best sandwich you'll ever have), Great Lakes Brewing Company, Nano Brew Afternoon: Explore Hingetown, shopping, and browsing local boutiques, grab a drink at Patron Saint, Jukebox, or Saucy Brew Works Evening: Dinner at Momocho (Modern Mex - great margs), Banana Blossom (Thai), Heck's Cafe (Casual)

Tremont

Cleveland, OH

Breakfast: Lucky’s Cafe (don't sleep on the oatmeal); Martha on the Fly (sandwiches to go); Roasted (cozy coffee shop) Late Morning: A Christmas Story House and Museum, Lincoln Park Lunch: Barrio (Tacos), Corner 11 (Poke bowls and ramen) Afternoon: Tremont Art Studios and Galleries, St. Theodosius Russian Orthodox Cathedral, shopping at local boutiques, walk along the Towpath Trail Dinner and drinks: Ginko (sushi), Hi and Dry (fun bar), The Treehouse (go for the patio), Lil Ronnie's (pizza by the slice), La Cave du Vin (wine bar), Velvet Tango Room (fun cocktails)

Downtown

Cleveland, OH

Breakfast: Betts, Yours Truly, Lulo Cafe Late Morning: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (touristy but actually very cool); Cuyahoga River Rally (kayak tours, bike tours, boat rides, walking tours, live music, a beer garden and more along the Cuyahoga River at Hart Crane Park) Lunch: Heinen's Downtown (grocery store but actually very cool) Afternoon: Cleveland Beer Fest @ Progressive Field (just make sure to show up at our reception!), The Arcade Cleveland (beautiful building to pop into), or walk along the Cleveland Lakefront Dinner: East 4th Street District (we like Cordelia and Butcher and the Brewer); The Winking Lizard (old standby)
