Will and Alyssa's love story began at our best friends' wedding in the summer of 2023. One of us (can you guess who?) recalls sparks flying when we first met at the wedding reception, Say You Love Me playing on the dance floor. The other knows that we actually met at the rehearsal dinner the night before... Two things we do agree on? 1) Our connection was immediate, unlike anything either of us had ever felt, and 2) We wanted to see where that connection could go. Unfortunately, at the time, Will lived in Charlotte, and Alyssa lived in Nashville—8 hours away. Luckily, our aforementioned besties have family in Alpharetta, a convenient meeting point, and they were gracious enough to host us the following weekend (and many more) to reconnect. That weekend, we decided to start dating. We made it official with 'boyfriend/girlfriend' titles two weeks later. The next many months included thousands of miles traveled - by car and plane - to keep the love alive. And as He always does, God had a plan. Will got a new, wonderful, remote job that allowed him to move to Nashville in January, and then to Chattanooga in the Spring. Fast forward to August 2024, in the city of love for the Summer Olympics. Will booked a romantic private cruise complete with champagne and cheese down the Seine - perhaps for a special occasion? The summer night turned out to be the night we agreed on forever, and a night we will never forget. And to think it all started with a Fleetwood Mac song.

Rawley Boy...Alyssa's OG boyfriend and the love of our lives. Those who know Rawley know how lucky they are. Those who don't know him - who are you and how did you get invited to this wedding?? All jokes aside, we love this big dog so much and want everyone to know how special he is. We almost didn't do a destination wedding because he isn't able to fly. Whether he's chasing squirrels, swimming in the lake, or resting his head on the dining table, he brings us endless joy and we are all lucky to know him.
