Flight
There are several options for getting to Harbour Island, and honestly, none are overly complex. The nearest airport (and easiest option) is North Eleuthera International (ELH). From North Eleuthera airport (a small shack, be prepared to wait in line), it’s a 5-minute taxi ride to Three Island Dock. From there, take a 5-minute water taxi to Harbour Island’s Government Dock, and then another 5-minute taxi ride to your hotel. Transport is readily available, but BRING CASH, small bills recommended! From within the United States, there are daily scheduled flights from Miami and Charlotte through American Airlines and from Ft. Lauderdale through United Airlines which is operated by Silver Airways. From Atlanta, nonstop service is available through Delta. You can also fly into Nassau, and then fly/boat over to ELH. There are daily flights serviced by Pineapple Air, Southern Air Charters and Bahamas Air. There is also a 3-hour ferry service from Nassau to Harbour Island - not recommended for anyone who may get seasick. There are also charter flights available which can be cost effective for large groups. If this is of interest, please reach out to us! For your flight home, plan to arrive back to ELH 2.5-3 hours before your departure time. Again, small shack, one attendant :)
Rental Car
Everyone on the island drives golf carts (on the left side of the road!). We highly recommend booking a golf cart for your trip. Below are a few local rental options: https://www.conchandcoconut.com/products/harbour-island-golf-cart-rentals https://www.kiplinrentals.com/ https://www.majorsgolfcartrental.com/ https://rossgolfcartrentals.com/

Hotel
A highly recommended spot! Supposedly, best food on the island.
House Or Rental
We really recommend looking at houses for rent on the island in addition to hotels! Especially for groups, this can be a super cost effective way to stay on the island, plus having a kitchen is super nice. Truly no bad locations, the island is small so everything is great! Let us know if we can help find a spot.
Travel Note
We recommend booking hotels on Hotwire if you plan to stay in a hotel! Can find some great deals.
