When should I RSVP?
Answer
A formal invitation will be mailed this summer. If you know that you are unable to attend, kindly let us know as soon as possible.

Will transportation be provided for the Welcome Party?
Answer
Transportation will be the responsibility of our guests. We recommend that our friends and relatives enjoy dinner before joining us at the Welcome Party for drinks and desserts.

Where should we go to dinner before the Welcome Party?
Answer
Chicago is filled with great restaurants. Below are some of our favorites near The Dalcy and The Fairmont Hotel for your convenience. *We HIGHLY suggest booking your dinner reservation well in advance, as these popular restaurants will book up quickly!* Near The Fairmont Hotel: Tre Dita (Italian): reservations open 14 days in advance. Miru (Japanese): reservations open 42 days in advance. Near The Dalcy: Aba (Mediterannean): reservations open 45 days in advance; (The Dalcy is in the Aba restaurant!). Trivoli Tavern (Upscale American): reservations open 21 days in advance (yes we will have dessert at the Welcome Party, but you cannot leave without ordering the Sticky Date Cake - it is our favorite dessert in Chicago!). Cabra (Peruvian): reservations open 30 days in advance. El Che (Argentinean steakhouse): reservations are currently open for September 18. Rose Mary (Italian Croatian): reservations open 30 days in advance. Duck Duck Goat (Upscale Chinese): reservations open 60 days in advance. The Publican (American): reservations open 60 days in advance.

Will transportation be provided for the wedding at Allium?
Answer
Yes. Coach buses will be provided from the Fairmont Chicago, Millenium Park to the wedding at Allium, departing from the Fairmont Auto Lobby in the lower level of the hotel at 4:30 PM. Transportation will be available to bring guests back to the hotel throughout the evening until the final return shuttle at 11:30 pm.

Is parking available at Allium?
Answer
Street parking is available on Ogden Avenue and Fulton Street, or there is a parking garage (1330 West Fulton Market Garage) directly behind the Allium/Blue Plate building, with the entrance at 323 North Ada Street.

Can I bring a plus one or children?
Answer
Due to limitations of the venue, we have a strict guest list and will only be able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

What should I wear to the Wedding?
Answer
Our wedding will be Black Tie. Long, formal dresses for women and tuxedoes for men.

Anything else we should know about the wedding?
Answer
We recommend bringing your sunglasses to enjoy the sunshine on the Terrace!
