FAQs

We’re so excited to celebrate with you in Italy! We know many of you will be turning this trip into a full vacation, while others may be joining us just for the wedding. Either way, we wanted to share some helpful tips from our experience to make your travel as smooth and enjoyable as possible. If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to help!
Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have listed different options in our travel section for accommodations and the hotels are very close to the venue. We recommend staying in Ravello since everything is within walking distance. There are also Airbnb’s in the area.

Question

What airport should I fly into and how do I get there?

Answer

The closest airport to Ravello is Naples (Napoli International Airport). From there, we highly recommend booking a private driver to take you directly to Ravello. The drive is about 1.5 hours and includes narrow, winding mountain roads. You can take a train from Naples to Salerno, but you will still need a driver from Salerno to Ravello—so overall, it’s easier to go directly by car. We do NOT recommend renting a car. Roads are extremely narrow and winding, traffic can be intense, and parking in Ravello is very limited. If you are flying into Rome, the best option is to take a high-speed train to Naples (about 1 hour 20 minutes). This is typically around €50 per person. There is also a slower, more affordable train (~€15), but it takes about 3 hours. From Naples, arrange a driver to Ravello.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a good connection with a travel agent that can provide you with local hotels that are nearby the venue!

Question

Will there be any planned activities?

Answer

We're currently finalizing our event schedule and will share all the exciting details with guests as our wedding date approaches. Stay tuned for a complete lineup of planned activities!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding calls for formal attire. We envision an elegant celebration inspired by a beautiful sunset—warm, vibrant, and refined. For our ladies, we recommend mid to full-length dresses. Gentlemen, please wear suits; ties are optional. Since our ceremony takes place in a Catholic Church, we ask that you dress respectfully. A practical note: our venue features cobblestone streets and multiple staircases that can be challenging in heels. We suggest bringing a comfortable pair of flats for walking to and from the church and venue. While the church and reception space are suitable for heels we recommend block heels or wedges.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration!

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, simply visit our wedding website's dedicated RSVP page, or by communicating with Trinity and Will directly We kindly request that you submit your response by May 15th to help us finalize our wedding arrangements. For your convenience, an RSVP card with the website link will also be included with your invitation.

Question

How should we arrange transportation?

Answer

Italy’s public transportation system is excellent. We recommend using Google Maps for directions—it will guide you step-by-step through buses, metros, and walking routes. Most transit can be paid easily with Apple Pay or credit card. Local transit is very affordable (around €1.50 per ride). For longer travel between cities: Download the Trainline app to book train tickets, view schedules, and track platforms. Tickets can be stored in your Apple Wallet for easy access. Trains are clean, comfortable, and have luggage storage. Uber & Taxis Uber works similarly to the U.S., but taxis are also available within the app. Compare prices between Uber and taxis—they can vary. Most vehicles are small, so if you’re traveling with a group or large luggage, be sure to select a larger option. The roads along the Amalfi Coast are very narrow, so we strongly recommend booking a private driver for airport transfers and any additional travel during your stay. We’ve included a recommended option in the “Drivers” section.

Question

Packing Tips

Answer

Pack light—this will make getting around much easier. Bring comfortable walking shoes (this is VERY important!). Expect cobblestone streets, hills, and lots of stairs—especially in Ravello and along the Amalfi Coast. Bring a light jacket or sweater for evenings.

Question

Dining

Answer

Dinner in Italy is typically after 8:00 PM. Many restaurants do not open early. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially in popular areas.

Question

Money

Answer

Cash is widely appreciated, especially for drivers and small purchases. Many drivers will offer a discount if paid in cash Credit cards are best for restaurants, shopping, and larger expenses (better exchange rates). Be aware that many ATMs do not accept Discover cards.

Question

Cell Phones

Answer

Make sure to check with your provider before traveling internationally. Some carriers charge daily international fees. If your phone is unlocked, you can purchase an eSIM in Italy (such as from Vodafone) for local data and service. We highly recommend downloading WhatsApp before your trip—this is the primary way people communicate in Europe, including calls and messages.
