Question

What is the weather like in Charleston during March?

Answer

Typically, it's extremely mild, dry and in the mid to high 60s. That being said, early spring can be unpredictable and most of the weekend's events will be taking place outside so feel free to pack an extra layer if you'd like!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice gives you time to make arrangements and enjoy a well-deserved weekend off!

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

We will have shuttles picking up from our hotel blocks! All guests are welcome to use the shuttle service even if your not staying at one of the hotels. Please reference the Travel/Transportation page for more information on pick up times and locations. If you choose to get to the venue on your own, Ubers and Lyfts make it to The Island House with no problem. Everyone is welcome to take shuttles once the event is over!

Question

Can I park at the venue?

Answer

Yes, you can! There is plenty of parking at The Island House. It is highly preferred that your car leaves with you at the end of the night, but the staff understands that safety comes first and your car will be safe if you end up needing to leave it overnight.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate if we are able to accommodate a plus-one!

Question

Are there vegetarian/vegan/allergy-accommodating food options?

Answer

There are and they're DELICIOUS! Please just indicate on your RSVP what you need, and our caterers will ensure that you are taken care of.
