Danielle and Katie met when they were 13 years old, playing Glinda and Dorothy in their school production of "The Wizard of Oz!" They have been best friends ever since, and even lived together in Madrid, Spain for a few months!

Maggie and Katie became fast friends in 5th grade, despite having a crush on the same boy (no longer the case ;) ). They were pretty inseparable and often look back and laugh at their awkward growing-up days. Katie actually lived with Maggie & her husband Matt for her first 6 months in Charlotte, so they witnessed the romance with Nick blossom.
Nicole Cioffi

Maggie and Nicole were already best friends when Katie fell into the fold in 5th grade. The three of them often made "movies" of themselves running the gamut from "exclusive interviews," to educational science specials, to "horror" movies and more. The videos are just as hysterical AND embarrassing now as they were back then. Now, Katie and Nicole both have careers as Registered Dietitians.
Caitlyn Gallacher

By 8th grade, Maggie, Nicole, and Katie had endeared themselves to the much cooler Caitlyn, who would complete the crew. And then there were four, so was born the infamous name, the "faosome." Katie and Caitlyn seldom stop laughing whenever they're together, quipping back and forth with impressions and quotes from their favorite movies and tv shows.
Olivia Volkel

Olivia and Katie met in Charlotte when Nick became friends with Chasen, her now husband. Both couples moved to southern California in 2020 and continued the fun! Together, they have floated down rivers, partied on rooftops, skiied down mountains, boated around harbors, hiked mountains, and traveled to Asheville, Miami, Austin and more.

Katie and Viki - though their alma maters are Virginia state rivals (K- James Madison University; V- Virginia Tech), are both happy to be gaining their first and only sister! Nick met Viki when their mom brought her home from the hospital :)
Pierce Davis

Pierce met Katie in their 2nd grade classroom, and their friendship grew slowly but steadily over many years as they shared classes, friends, and most often, the stage - Pierce was the Tin Man to Katie's Dorothy. Pierce was also in the same 6th grade classroom where Nick and Katie met (along with bridesmaid Maggie)! Nick and Pierce became good friends in high school and have stayed close ever since. Through adventures in New Paltz to 21st birthdays in Atlantic City, Pierce could always be counted on to bring a celebration to life, so Katie and Nick were honored when he agreed to officiate their wedding.
Jonathon Mershimer

Jon (better known by his street name "Mersh") and Nick met in Charlotte at Nick's first job after grad school. The professional relationship quickly grew, and as close friends they have navigated their careers and personal lives together since then. He is like an older brother to Nick, and Mersh's fiancée often pokes fun at how much time the two spend on the phone together discussing life and "gabbing like little school girls".
Chasen Volkel

Chasen also worked in Charlotte with Nick and Mersh, and rounded out the trio. As someone who is both wise beyond his years and has the spirit of a college kid, Chasen has always been a close confidant and trusted friend. Chasen also ended up in Southern California at the same time as Nick and Katie, which allowed them all to experience plenty of summer sunsets, snowy slopes, and the type of late night talks that serve as the building blocks of a lifelong friendship.
Bill Lentz

Bill and Nick went to Cornell together, where their interest in weightlifting and stochastic calculus helped build a relationship that has been going strong since 2016, and even lived together in Jersey City during their last semester. Though Nick went on a bit of a US tour between Charlotte and Newport Beach the last 5 years, now that he is back on the East Coast the two hang out constantly, share laughs, and cook gourmet meals together.
Todd Edmonds

Todd went to Cornell with both Bill and Nick (and also lived in the Jersey City apartment), and thus the group which would be later dubbed the " Back Row Boys™ " was born. Todd always maintained a strong ambition in everything he did, which helped elevate the group both personally and professionally. Though they were distant geographically, they always remained connected, and the recent move back to Jersey has made the gang stronger than ever. With Todd leading the group in both intellect and height, they will surely enjoy success on their journey through life.
Vaughn Tucci

Vaughn and Nick have been great friends since high school, and have seen each other go through every phase of their mature lives. Vaughn has always been honest, supportive, genuine, hilarious and hard working ever since Nick knew him. The two have shared what some would consider a lifetime of adventure already (which unfortunately cannot be described in detail in case my mom reads this) and Nick is honored to have him stand by his side on his wedding day. Katie fondly remembers Vaughn's boisterous personality in the classes they shared in high school and was delighted to reconnect with him through Nick.
