The Wedding Website of Haley Petersen and Sam Wilkerson
Question

We got your new date. Will you be changing locations or times?

Answer

Same time, same place, new date! We will be renewing our vows at 5 pm at Langdon Farms in Aurora, OR, on August 1, 2021 with a reception to follow.

Question

Wait, vow renewal? Are you already married?

Answer

Yes! We love each other so much and could not wait to start our lives together, so we had a very small, private wedding ceremony with just our immediate family members on our original July 26th date. However, you are all such a huge part of our lives and we love you so much that we cannot wait to celebrate with you! We are so excited for you to join us for our vow renewal ceremony and reception. We can't think of a better way to celebrate our first year of marriage than affirming our love with the people we love!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is present enough! If you generously wish to contribute further, we are registered at Anthropologie, Target, and Amazon.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden party attire is encouraged. The wedding will be outside, so wear something that you can stay cool in.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have booked a hotel block at Holiday Inn Portland- I-5 S (Wilsonville) and the Hilton Garden Inn and Suites Wilsonville. The rates, reservation deadlines, and hotel contact information is available in the Travel section. But here is an overview: Discount Code - Petersen/Wilkerson Wedding Holiday Inn - $119 per night Hilton - 15% off the going rate on the day that you book *Reservations at either hotel must be made by June 30th to qualify for the discount*

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but we think you deserve the night off! Adults only, please.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 5 pm. We recommend that guests arrive by 4:30 - 4:45 pm.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking available for guests.

Question

What should we know about safety?

Answer

Your health and happiness is our top concern. You are all very special to us, and we are going to take every measure to ensure that we spread love, not germs. We are hopeful that vaccine access will continue to make this summer safer for everyone. This is a fluid situation, so we will provide you with more details as the day approaches. For now, it may be helpful for you to know that our ceremony and reception will be outside. The ceremony will be fully outside, and the reception is in a barn with a roof and two open walls to ensure plenty of ventilation. In addition, we will be adhering to all state distancing, masking, and general health guidelines that are in place at the time of our event.

Question

Will you hate us if we don't feel comfortable attending?

Answer

Of course not! We understand that everyone's circumstances are very different. As much as we would love to celebrate with you, your peace of mind comes first. We only want you attend if you feel it is the right choice for you.
