Some of the best French pastries in the city. Try Olivia's favorite a pistachio croissant - but you really can't order wrong.
Tatte Bakery & Cafe (Multiple Locations)
There are multiple locations around the city, and if you're in search of an easy breakfast, lunch spot - this is a great place. Trevor's favorite is the classic breakfast sandwich on sourdough. Olivia prefers the smoked salmon and avocado tartine.
DUA DC Coffee
An excellent coffee spot right near Olivia's old apartment. Yummy pastries and food there as well.
YELLOW Georgetown
Go for breakfast or lunch. Everything is incredible here, the pastries are DIVINE. Olivia's picks: The Coconut Cardamon Iced Coffee, and BBD'D Harissa Cauliflower Pita. Trevor's picks: Batata Tots and Amba Chicken Shawarma Pita. There's also a location in Union Market.
The Greenhouse
We went here for one of our first Valentine's together. Nestled inside the beautiful Jefferson Hotel is a perfect place for Breakfast/Brunch or Lunch.
Zaytinya by José Andrés
Trevor and Olivia's go-to date night spot and place to take friends/family when they visit. Great for big groups. This is our standard order: labneh dip, baba ghannouge dip, crispy brussels afelia, and as the main course the kebab platter.
Rasika West End
One of Olivia's favorite Indian restaurants. Ordering the Palak Chaat is a must.
Le Diplomate
Very quintessential DC restaurant. Good for dinner or lunch. One time Trevor and Olivia sat next to the actress Chloe Grace Moretz. Top bites: escargot, gougères, moules frites, duck a l'orange, steak frites and they give you fresh bread
L'Annexe
Chic cocktail bar in Georgetown.
Silver Lyan
A converted bank turned speakeasy. Fun, creative, constantly rotating menu of cocktails to try.
The Coffee Bar
Really cute coffee spot - they have a delicious cardamon latte

One of the best espresso martinis in town! Very close to where the Welcome Party is, if you wanted to eat dinner beforehand.

They have a little bit of everything. The Peking Duck Confit is really good. An option for breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner.
MI VIDA
Upscale Mexican fare. Olivia loves the mole enchiladas and Trevor loves the fish tacos.
Maketto
One of our favorite restaurants! We love bringing guests here if they're craving Asian fusion food. Go hungry to get the full experience. Our order: Pork Steamed Bao, Crystal Shrimp Dumplings, Spicy Cauiflower, Lo Mein, Maketto Fried Chicken. The cocktails are fun too!

Blue Duck Tavern
This is Olivia's ceramics teacher's favorite restaurant. According to Bonnie (said ceramic teacher), they make a great martini. Neither Trevor or Olivia has dined here before, but they trust Bonnie's recommendation, as she's lived in DC on and off for 25+ years.
