The North Carolina Museum of Art is one of our favorite places in Raleigh - they have an incredible set of exhibits and always have new, exciting shows.

If you like nature, Lake Johnson is a great little park - there are both paved and unpaved path options and is a nice short walk.

The NC State Farmers Market is magical - tons of fresh fruits and vegetables, country vendors, and a seafood restaurant with the best fried food around.

Downtown Raleigh is a great place for dining, nightlife and exploration!

Cary also has a very cute little downtown area with a movie theatre and lots of great restaurants.  If you're in the area, Scratch Kitchen and Taproom is a delicious place to try.
