When and where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The wedding will be held on June 25, 2026 at the North Tahoe Event Center at 8318 N Lake Blvd, Kings Beach, CA 96143. (50 minutes from Reno/Tahoe Airport). The ceremony begins at 4 pm with food and celebration to follow.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors. The rest of the wedding will be celebrated both indoors and outdoors, so guests can enjoy the lakefront and beach setting throughout the evening. If needed, there is also an indoor backup option for the ceremony.

What should I wear?

Answer

Beach Formal. Since we’ll be celebrating by the lake, stylish attire that is also comfortable for the setting is perfect. *~Let the lake inspire your look~* North Lake Tahoe weather in late June is often beautiful but can cool down in the evening. P.S. Feel free to bring your favorite water fun gear if you'd like! The venue provides a good amount of lake front beach space to enjoy.

Yes, children are allowed.. as long as they are accompanied by an adult, that is not Samantha, she will be too busy :-P

Of course, just RSVP for the guest count reserved in your honor.

What should we know about parking?

Answer

While there is no parking available at the venue, there is a large public parking area adjacent. They do charge fees and the lot can fill up during busy times. Other parking options are limited, so carpooling, Uber, or some other method are encouraged for a smooth experience.

Can we stay for the week?

Answer

We hope you arrive as early and leave as late as you desire! We plan to depart for our honeymoon on July 1st, and we'll be staying near the venue the week of the wedding.

Should we rent a car for our stay?

Answer

The best answer would be yes. The airport everyone will mostly be flying into is Reno/Tahoe Airport, which is in Reno, NV, and is 50 or so minutes away from the venue/North Lake Tahoe Area. The wedding venue did mention how parking is extremely limited especially in the summertime.

Where can we stay that is near the venue?

Answer

There are several great places to stay near the venue (North Lake Tahoe), including options within just a few minutes of the North Tahoe Event Center. Nearby choices listed by the venue include Crown Motel, Firelite Lodge, Franciscan Lakeside Lodge, and Cedar Glen Lodge for guests who want to stay very close by. For those looking for larger resort-style options, the Hyatt Regency and Ritz-Carlton are also nearby, along with Martis Valley Lodge.
