So, why Michigan?
Answer
We envisioned our wedding day being intimate, in a scenic outdoor location, surrounded by our closest family and friends. We also knew we wanted to get married in August because this year it will mark our 15 year anniversary! Well an outdoor wedding + Midwest August heat didn’t really sound like our cup of tea... So we started looking at venues a little further north and found the perfect place in Maple City, Michigan. Nature, our venue, really brought our wedding vision to life; a weekend long celebration of life, love, nature, and community! We are so grateful and excited to spend it with you! ❤️

What is Nature?
Answer
Nature is the name of our venue! It is 78 acres of beautiful land that will be completely ours for the weekend! There is an event building, called The Great Nest, where wedding festivities will be held. The rest of the property includes cabins, glamping tents, a swimming pond, and lots of untouched wilderness— so get ready for some ‘splorin!
Question
What are the lodging accommodations for guests?
Answer
Guests will have the option to stay on-site at Nature in a tent or cabin (until spaces are filled). The cabins will be brand new and include 2 beds, a bathroom, and a kitchenette. There will also be off-site lodging available at a nearby hotel. We will keep everyone informed; arrangements do not need to be made until you are notified!

What is the dress code?
Answer
Dressy casual is probably the best fitting description, but we think there will be a variety of styles. With the wedding being outdoors in August we don’t expect anything too formal.. Please wear whatever you feel comfortable and your best in! The ceremony is in the grass, so if you’re thinking heels a block option would be best!
